Critics Consensus: Katy Perry: Part Of Me

Hi! We are Critics Consensus. We post the regular daily critics opinion for the newest video games and movies! Today it is Katy Perry:Part Of Me a new movie about Katy Perry.

Ever since Justin Bieber walked the Earth the barrage of musical star based documentaries have followed in. Katy Perry: Part Of Me has gotten OK-meh reviews but the reception has been better than Justin Bieber: Never Say Never. Hey even Entertainment Weekly said that it works hard to prove it's more than a glorified infomercial. What's impressive about Part Of Me is that critics liked it besides that one of the most negative reviews was Little White Lies who called the movie pretty dull. The only big complaint about the movie was the 3-D which Film Journal International called unnecessary.
Overall Katy Perry:Part Of Me is not a movie that you should see, but if you are a Katy Perry fan or a music fan you will find this really interesting.

Critics Consensus: The Art Of Rap

Musical Documentaries are a small genre but have good critical acclaim. No wait amazing critical acclaim because the newest one The Art Of Rap has a 100% on Rotten Tomatoes. Chicago Tribune loved the interviews and every review out there is positive. Hey 10 positive reviews do not lie. The Art Of Rap is the best movie of Jun 15 2012- Jun 22 2012. That's right.
Overall see this movie. This is worth your time and money.

Critics Conensus: Battlefield America

Hi! We are Critics Consensus. We post the regular daily critics opinion for the newest video games and movies! Today it is Battlefield America a movie based on the teenage dance scene in America.

It's funny because Battlefield America sounds like a movie based off a popular first person shooter franchise. It is is not but it still sucks. Battlefield America has a 13% on Rotten Tomatoes and a 40 on Metacritic. Well examples of why this is  one of the worst movies of the month is the highest score was a 60 from Village Voice and the critics have complained about crappy editing and too many cliches.
Overall if you are looking for a music movie again just stay at home. Use your good ol pal called Netflix.

Battlefield America is rated PG-13.

Critics Consensus: Marley

Hi! We are Critics Consensus. We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is Marley a documentary about Bob Marley.

Marley has been getting mostly positive reviews and here's why. Marley has a good soundtrack,it treats Bob Marley good,has wonderful performance footage and has Bob Marley instead of an actor. The problems are the movie feels a bit too long.
Marley has not been getting the box office money craze it deserves so if you are just a bit interested with this movie see it.
Marley is rated PG-13.

Critics Consensus: Chimpanzee

Hi! We are Critics Consensus. We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is Chimpanzee a movie made for Earth Day about a chimpanzee.                                                    

Chimpanzee has received mixed reviews with the average score being a 63. Most critics rated the film a 60 or higher and that was pretty much it which explains it's 58 out of 100 on Metacritic. The film is about a chimpanzee named Oscar. The good things about the film are it's educational,and has cool footage. One of the biggest problems about the movie is the narration is annoying and bland which takes the whole experience out.
Overall if you are looking for a movie to see with your kids this is an OK one but adults that do not have kids, there is no reason to see this movie.
Chimpanzee is rated G.

Critics Consensus: The Lady

Hi! We are Critics Consensus! We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is The Lady which is an documentary\biography about Aung San Suu Ky.

 The Lady has received mostly negative reviews and the average score is a 40. The movie itself is about one lady trying to revolutionize Burma's democracy. The positive things about the movie are the main actress Michelle Yeoh does a good job acting and performing. The problems are The Lady is the directing is crappy,the movie is long,most of the movie is boring, and the script is written as if from Google Translate.
Overall if you want to see this movie don't but it might give you a good history lesson besides from the bad things about the movie.
