Hi! We are Critics Consensus. We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is the new reunion style movie with Morgan Freeman,Robert De Niro, and Michael Douglas.
For some this year has been filled with actors coming back from their classic 80's roles such as The Last Stand,Escape Plan, Bullet To The Head and now Last Vegas. None of these movies have been very good but will Last Vegas strive? Let's find out. Unfortunately no. Last Vegas has a lot of charisma from all the actors performing in it and it definitely looks like they had a lot of fun it's just that it's not a very good movie inside. The jokes aren't very funny, only typically please to the old crowd (which probably are not gonna see this movie anyway) and feels very contrived of The Hangover as Metro Times,Cinemalogue.com and Reeling Reviews said. Overall do not see this movie unless you are either old or really want to. Last Vegas is rated PG-13.
Hi! We are Critics Consensus. We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is the new Enders Game movie!
In 1985 author Orson Scott Card published Enders Game. The book was an amazing hit and spawned many sequels. Unfortunately a movie was never made due to problems with licensing and rights. Somehow it's now finally out. But is it the amazing movie we've been waiting for? Let's find out!
Sadly Enders Game is not the astonishing spectacle we've been hoping for with a 62% on Rotten Tomatoes and a 51 on Metacritic. It's more of a CGI spectacle with breathtaking set pieces but as critics have said it's not anything special. The writing falls flat in many ways and actors are poorly miscast with the exception of Harrison Ford and Asa Butterfield as Time Out London and The Guardian have said. This is not the thriller you were hoping for. It's more of a popcorn muncher. But i'm sure if you turn your brain off you'll be fine.
Overall only see this movie if you want to.
Enders Game is rated PG-13.
Hi! We are Critics Consensus. We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is the new Battlefield!
Battlefield does amazing numbers every time it comes out because it's not only a Call Of Duty clone, it's a smart Call Of Duty clone. It has amazing graphics, story and stunning realism. Call Of Duty rarely catches that. But last years Medal Of Honor:Warfighter did not do well commercially and critically. Will Battlefield 4 do the same? Yes it does and it does it again. Battlefield 4 is once again an excellent achievement from both DICE and Electronic Arts showcasing the talent behind their hands in which they are able to craft breathtaking visual experiences every year. Just look at the reviews on this thing! 86 on Metacritic,"Gives Call Of Duty a run for it's money"-AusGamers,Battlefield 4 is more alive than ever-Gamereactor Sweden, and "Enjoy one of the best online games out there". Now thats impressive. Overall get this game. Battlefield 4 is rated M.
Hi! We are Critics Consensus. We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is the new Assassin's Creed!
Assassin's Creed is one of the world's biggest video game franchises to date and boy it took a lot of luck. The first Assassin's Creed came out back in 2007. It was nothing special and was a sleeper hit. But it sold well and it got a sequel. One more game was made until Assassin's Creed turned into an annual franchise with a different setting and time period each game. Now Assassin's Creed is a behemoth from it's spectacular writing, intense action and immense open-worlds to explore. Let's hope Black Flag delivers just that.
As said by many critics like IGN,Vandal Online, and Game Trailers Black Flag is a fantastic game. It realized it's mistakes from the ambitious misstep that was Assassin's Creed 3 and now it's back and better than ever. GRYonline called it the Red Dead Redemption for the pirate genre and the writing is top-notch and not slow-paced like Assassin's Creed 3. A step in the right direction I must say.
Hi! We are Critics Consensus. We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is the new Jackass movie! Except this one's got a twist!
A new Jackass movie has not been released since 2010. In case you have been living under a rock for the past five years Jackass was an MTV show that was people doing stupid stunts and it got turned into four films. Now they need to come up with a new one and now it's a live action prank-off.
USA Today praised that it wasn't Grown-Ups 2 humour even though it's not the most mature thing you have ever seen in your life but it's actually some what funny. You can't help but laughing and somehow that happens here. Jackass is back and while it's not bigger and better it's certainly something to ease your palette. Fart joke palette that is.
