Critics Consensus:Company Of Heroes 2

Hi! We are Critics Consensus. We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is Company Of Heroes 2!!!
Remember 2006? Remember 2006 and how it had that shining star? The shining star being Company Of Heroes? Well let's face it. Now strategy is a dying genre being killed by big blockbuster shooters. So can Company Of Heroes 2 live up to the seven year hype? Let's find out.
Good news and bad news. Company Of Heroes is an amazing game as critics such as Destructoid, Cheat Code Central, and Strategy Informer stated. The gameplay is top-notch filled with great graphics and a compelling storyline. The only problem is that it's more of the same but I'm sure a Company Of Heroes fan will still love it.
Overall get this game.
Company Of Heroes 2 is rated M.

Critics Consensus: Aliens: Colonial Marines

Hi! We are Critics Consensus. We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is Aliens: Colonial Marines a new game based off the Aliens franchise by Gearbox the creators of Borderlands. Oooh.
Gearbox Software is an amazing company. However they have their faults. For instance taking on multiple projects at a time (Sambi De Amigo and Borderlands) and (Duke Nukem Forever, Borderlands-2). Well when you put a lot of focus on one game and not on the other it's kind of like school. You will get a bad grade.
50-Metacritic,40-Game Informer, 4.5-IGN,30-Eurogamer. I wish I was joking. This game is lower rated than Duke Nukem Forever. Yep I said it. The physics are horrible as SmoshGames presented in Nope Or Dope., 3DJuegos hated the repetitive gameplay, and Machinima said that it was the biggest disappointment of the year.
Overall do not get this game. The only redeeming quality is the OK Multiplayer.
Aliens:Colonial Marines is rated M.

Critics Consensus: Skulls Of The Shogun

Hi! We are Critics Consensus. We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is Skulls Of The Shogun a new strategy game made by Sega.

When we are during a video game drought every title catches our eye. Skulls Of The Shogun is one of them. Even better Skulls Of The Shogun is a rare breed. A strategy game for a console. These are very few and far between like 5 a year. Let's hope this does not disappoint.
Well like XCOM and Planets Under Attack it does not. Game Informer praised the brilliant tactics you can place and Games Master UK praised the graphics. Skulls Of The Shogun is maybe one of the best console strategy games. It should have co-op but that has been the only complaint so far.
Overall get this game if you wanna.
Skulls Of The Shogun is rated T.

Critics Consensus: The Cave

Hi! We are Critics Consensus. We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is The Cave a new downloadable platformer from Double Fine.
Double Fine has a track record of never giving a disappointment. They also have a track record of moving with different publishers and poor sales records. However fans love em. Sadly Double Fine's newest game The Cave is not getting the best reception.
The Cave has been getting a lot and when I mean a lot I mean a lot of mixed reviews. Some critics have given it a 8.5 like SmoshGames who praised the story and other reviewers like Gamespot who deflected the challenging puzzles. Lastly Strategy Informer gave the worst review with a 4.0 out of 10 calling it a major disappointment.
Overall only get this game if you want to.
The Cave is rated E10+.

Critics Consensus: Anarchy Reigns

Hi! We are Critics Consensus. We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is Anarchy Reigns Sega's new fighting game!
Anarchy Reigns had a troubled development. It was supposed to come out in January 2011 but that never happened. Then summer 2012. That never happened. Finally January 2013. Anarchy Reigns is finally out but a troubled development does not fair well with games. (Duke Nukem Forever,SSX) Let's see if Anarchy Reigns can pull up it's Reigns and be a good game.
Anarchy Reigns is OK. Digital Chumps said that it was not perfect but still fun alone or with friends and Official Xbox Magazine praised the online multiplayer. The problem is as Game Informer said is that other fighting games kick their ass in comparison (no pun intended.)
Overall only get this game if you wanna. You probably have no money after last year but ya know..
Anarchy Reigns is rated M.

Critics Consensus: Hell Yeah:Wrath Of The Dead Rabbit

Hi! We are Critics Consensus. We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is a new game made by SEGA about dead bunnies. Ok then........

Crazy Japanese Game Time! Hell Yeah:Wrath Of The Dead Rabbit is about a zombie bunny who kills a bunch of crap or something. Well for Gamespot at least, Hell Yeah was a game that came from hell because they gave it a 4.0 out of 10 but for Machinima it was a game from heaven. GamingXP also called it funny, cool, and they loved the art style. They both gave it a 8.5 and called it a bunch of fun but beware because 50% of the reviews were negative on this one.
Overall only get this game if you want to but first get the demo.

Hell Yeah: Wrath Of The Dead Rabbit is rated T.

Critics Consensus: Rhythm Thief & the Emperor's Treasure

Hi! We are Critics Consensus. We post the regular daily critics opinion for the newest video games and movies! Today it is Rhythm Thief & the Emperor's Treasure a new music game for the 3DS.
Sega is taking new routes after the Sonic series has not been selling the best it should have had. They stopped console production in 2004 after the Dreamcast selling horribly but 8 years later Sega took a dip in the music side of gaming. Meet Rhythm Thief & The Emperor's Treasure a new music game that is being critically acclaimed by critics. Eurogamer Sweden said that it liked the game so much it wanted a sequel. Almost every critic liked the game in some way except for Gameplanet who gave it a 5.5 saying that they hated the story though at the same time 3DJuegos said it had a entertaining story. The most impressive thing about this game from critics statements was the addictiveness of it even though it's short and the story is a convoluted mess.
Overall get this game but if you don't want to get it you can wait for it to go on sale. Nevertheless you will love it when you get it.

Rhythm Thief & the Emperor's Treasure is rated E10+.

Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown

Hi! We are Critics Consensus. We post the regular daily critics opinion for the newest video games and movies! Today it is Virtua Fighter 5:Final Showdown the newest installment in the Virtua Fighter franchise.
While E3 2012 is going on few people are excited about the games that come out this week. Well here's another reason why you should stick to watch livestreams of Microsoft and Ubisoft press conferences. Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown came out and it's meh....  Well why? IGN felt that the online capabilities did not work well and only one positive review has come out so far. It's more of the same basically and if you aren't a fan of Virtua Fighter what's the bother?
Overall skip this one. Unless you are trying to have a fighting game collection.

Virtua Fighter 5:Final Showdown is rated T.

Critics Consensus: Sonic The Hedgehog 4: Episode II

Hi! We are Critics Consensus. We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is Sonic The Hedgehog 4: Episode II the sequel to 2010's Sonic The Hedgehog 4: Episode 1.

Sega's mascot is Sonic. Sonic has been everywhere even partnered with Mario sometimes. The question is  the new Sonic good or does it tarnish the mascot? Sonic has had a rough couple of years. Sonic The Black Knight was not good and Sonic Generations didn't sell well. The new Sonic is downloadable so it's less expensive. We can already find a plus there. The game has OK gameplay and good physics but the music is annoying and unbearable. So for 15$ there isn't that much content. If you are a Sonic fan this might hit the spot.
Overall if you are a Sonic fan it is a bit of a cash grab but it isn't a total waste of time. If you do not play Sonic there is no need to get this.

Sonic The Hedgehog 4:Episode II is rated E.
