Critics Consensus:A Million Ways To Die In The West

Hi! We are Critics Consensus.  We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is Seth Macfarlane's all new movie A Million Ways To Die In The West!

Back in 2012 we thought Seth Mcfarlane's movie career was going to flush down the drain pretty quickly as a lot of people hate Family Guy and Ted, his movie about a profanity filled teddy bear come to life was deemed before release as just that. And it came out and we laughed all of our asses off. All of us. So what has Mcfarlane been up to now?

Sadly it's not making good movies thats for sure. A Million Ways To Die In The West has a 33% on Rotten Tomatoes and a 44 on Metacritic. It's been criticized for being way too long, having all the good jokes in the trailer, and the great lengthy cast not really meaning anything at the end. Oh well Mcfarlane. Better luck next time. Overall only see this movie if you really want to.

A Million Ways To Die In The West is rated R.

Critics Consensus:Maleficent

Hi! We are Critics Consensus.  We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is the all new surprisingly villain themed Disney movie, Maleficent!

Disney's done a lot of experimental things in the past couple of years to shy away from the family friendly theme they've carried for so long. However those movies such as John Carter or Lone Ranger failed to gain any critical or commercial success but what if it was Disney themed this time around? Lets find out in the all new Maleficent.

Unfortunately Maleficent isn't the amazing epic we expected it to be. However it's not that bad as we expected it to be thanks to Angelina Jolies amazing performance with critics such as Salon.com,NPR, and Blackfilm.com praising it and the amazing special effects this movie stays in the cool zone of a little bit better than mediocore. Oh well Disney. You have so much money it doesn't matter how many times you fail apparently.

Overall see this movie if you want to.

Maleficent is rated PG.

Critics Consensus:Tropico 5

Hi! We are Critics Consensus.  We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is the newest entry in the hit Tropico series,Tropico 5!!

Tropico has been a staple (and one of the only) franchises for Kalypso so what better way to continue from the 2011 release of El Presidente with the all new Tropico 5? Let's find out if Tropico 5 has really overstayed its welcome.

Potentially. The game has a 75 on Metacritic with some critics griping the same gameplay style that's overshadowed the series for years, the shoddy multiplayer, and technical bugs. However if you manage to put that aside you can have one hell of a blast with Tropico as HookedGamers,GameStar,GameFront,GamesRadar, and GameInformer did as they all gave it a 9 or higher.

Overall only get this if you want to.

Tropico 5 is rated T.

Critics Consensus:Watch_Dogs

Hi! We are Critics Consensus.  We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is Ubisoft's all new hacking IP Watch Dogs!!

Let's face it. E3 2012 was a bummer. No next gen console announcements, still very little information about the WiiU, and pretty much every game there was a sequel. And then Ubisoft had their conference and a wild Watch Dogs appeared which pretty much blew everyone's mind apart. And after 2 years it's finally out. Let's get into the good news and the bad about Watch Dogs.

OK so Watch Dogs isn't the big explosive epic that we saw at E3 although it does have it's moments. As Videogamer.com pointed out even key points in the trailer don't match with the final game. But let's cut to the chase now, is Watch Dogs a good game or not? Yes it has a 82 on Metacritic and despite from only getting 1 10\10 from a major publication it has been praised for it's unique and creative multiplayer modes, shooting mechanics, and great moments and setpieces. However the game has some dumb moments that even the parody show Clueless Gamer pointed out as everything is Chicago is connected by only one network.

Overall get this game.

Watch_Dogs is rated M.

Critics Consensus:X-Men:Days Of Future Past

Hi! We are Critics Consensus.  We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is the all new X-Men movie!!

X-Men has had a mostly good track record. The first two films were excellent and then a catastrophic mistake happened with the third. Unfortunately that wasn't the case with First Class and that's not the case apparently with Days Of Future Past. Why?

According to critics it's the best X-Men film in years.NPR praised the new cast such as Quicksilver while ReviewsOnTheRun praised the returning cast from old films. And the acting isn't just the sweet spot in this film,it's everything. The CGI,script and plot have been pretty much praised by everyone alike and this time 20th Century Fox really shows that X-Men were always on top of their class after all.

Overall see this movie.

Days Of Future Past is rated PG-13.
