My Personal Opinion: Olympus Has Fallen

Hi! We are Critics Consensus. We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is me reviewing Olympus Has Fallen!

When I was like ten years old I realized that if you put your hand in front of the movie projector it would reflect on the giant movie screen. I should have put my middle finger on the screen. That is how much I hated Olympus Has Fallen. Olympus Has Fallen had a promising start. Good dialogue, an Uncharted reference!, and funny writing. This was going to be a good romp. Then something bad happens to Mr.President. However during this scene it is hard to tell what is going on and you will get confused trust me. And then Mr.President screams. He puts no emotion into his Noooooooooooo. He does not even care. He's just doing it for his paycheck and the director will put up with anything. If the acting was not horrible enough there is copious amounts of fake blood and cheesy special effects that make it look like a freddiew video. Seriously all that money spent and you can not do better than a fricking guy on youtube?

Overall this movie sucks. I will give it a 4 out of 10.

Well finally here comes  a  highly anticipated game however it is not a triple A game. One of those rare titles. Game Developer's Conference really helped you out DrinkBox Studios. Here's a game that is about a macho wrestler trying to save the presidents daughter and for some reason there is a chicken? And it's getting good reviews?
Sourcefed praised the co-op, Hardcore Gamer Magazine loved the vibrant style and Polygon praised the gameplay mechanics and the cross platform play. Hey Electronic Arts! Put a chicken in your game. Then you will get good reviews like this.

Critics Consensus:Battleblock Theater

Hi! We are Critics Consensus. We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is Battleblock Theater a new game from the brilliants who make Castle Crashers!

Well The Behemoth's creation has finally been released. It only took what? 5 years? Well let's hope this is not a Duke Nukem Forever or a Aliens: Colonial Marines. Because if so, well there is going to be a lot of crying people.

Well extra extra! Read all about it. Battleblock Theater has an 87. It hasn't even had a negative review and the lowest score was a 78. Silly IGN complained about it's lack of focus,and thats the only complaint we got. Battleblock Theater is fun,has a lot of content and is addictive. It also has co-op. That makes everything better.

Overall get this game.

My Personal Opinion: Terraria Xbox 360 Edition

Hi! We are Critics Consensus. We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is me reviewing Terraria Xbox 360 Edition.

Last year Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition came out. It sold four million copies within a couple of months. So of course another publisher wants to capitalize on a new trend. Bringing a PC game a port to console. When Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition was released it came with less features than the original release. 505 Games promised that this version would come with more features including online multiplayer ,co-op play, and a new boss. Well Terraria is finally on the Xbox and Playstation 3 and just how does it stack up compared to Minecraft?

The verdict is that it is better than Minecraft in some ways, but worse than it in others. Terraria’s controls are very confusing and will definitely will take some time to get used to. Also the aiming system is very sloppy too causing you to accidentally place a block where you did not want to place it. The controls of a game are one of the parts that makes or breaks it so that will absolutely affect the score.

If you are talking about the pro’s of the game there are many. First of all it’s always fun to go mining in caves with a sibling so the co-op splitscreen really shines in Terraria’s favor. The game has a stunning amount of content. You can literally play for 25 hours and still not finish everything. The graphics are cute and the death exclamations are hilarious. Terraria has a great ounce of charm to it and that is one of the best things the game has going for it. If only the controls were held well enough.

Overall, I would give Terraria:Xbox 360 Edition a 7.0 out of 10. It’s fun and creative but the poor controls and sluggish aiming system ruin some of it. If you want to get this game, sure it’s worth a try. It’s only fifteen dollars and has more content that some retail games.

Critics Consensus: Evil Dead

Hi! We are Critics Consensus. We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is the Evil Dead reboot!

The original Evil Dead was a hit because of it's little budget,being overwhelmingly scary, and suspenseful. Then every other Evil Dead movie was turned into a cashgrab with sequels and reboots. However Sam Raimi (of Spider-Man fame) wants to fix that and make this movie up to par with the original.

Let's start with the negatives and get that out of the way. Evil Dead is gruesome. In some ways worse than Dredd 3D. It is horribly graphic with skin ripping and rape. However it is more shocking than scary. You are gonna need a barf bag, but not sleeping pills. The acting is good as ReviewsOnTheRun said,especially the performance from Mia. Slate praised the script too. The only problem is that you have too know what you are walking into. Please do not blame me.

Overall see this movie if you want to. It is a good movie it's just that I dont want you having nightmares for the rest of your life.
