The Five Year Engagement is a romantic comedy about a couple that their engagement is 5 years. (Duh!) Anyway that means it is a probably long movie. (Not 5 hours but a 2 hrs and 4 mins.) That is one of the problems with The Five Year Engagement. The movie feels like it should have been the 3 Year Engagement.
Nevertheless the movie is actually pretty funny and fun to watch.
Overall if you want to see this movie go. You might just be looking at your watch once or twice waiting until it ends.

Critics Consensus: The Walking Dead: Episode 1

You watched both seasons of the TV show. You read the comics. Now it's your lucky day. If you have Steam,an Xbox 360, or a Playstation 3. The Walking Dead game is here but just like Telltale would they put it in episodes. Well it's off to a great start. The Walking Dead: Episode 1 has good graphics,a great plot formation,cheap and does not feel like a point and click adventure.
Overall get this unless you don't like point and click and you like games like Dead Island. This is not for you then.
The Walking Dead: Episode 1 is rated M.

Critics Consensus:Safe

Hi! We are Critics Consensus. We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is Safe a new action movie starring none other than Jason Statham.

Jason Statham aims a gun and shoots just like he does in every movie. This time he's aiming at the poster! That's what makes a generic movie. Safe which has a 54.5 average critics score is one that you can toss in that pile.This is why Safe is not the movie you should see this week here are a few reasons that you can glimmer on. Safe isn't logical,a regular action movie, and Statham should get a better role. Though it is a bit fun to watch.
Overall if you are a fan of Jason Statham of course you are going to like this movie. Others not so much.

Critics Consensus:Bloodforge

Hi! We are Critics Consensus. We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is Bloodforge a new action game on the Xbox 360.

Normally the Playstation 3 has been considered the best system of this generation for stuff like God Of War, Uncharted,Gran Turismo,Killzone,LittleBig Planet, etc. So Microsoft got a little jealous so they made their own God Of War. This is called Bloodforge. Bloodforge has the regular mythological action game storyline;anything to do with revenge. Which is why this game is so linear and generic. A 46 on Metacritic means that, as well as difficult gameplay,it's short,repetitive,and has bad graphics.
Overall Microsoft crapped their pants for this game in the Xbox Live House Party deal. Hopefully they don't do it with other one's.

Critics Consensus: The Raven

The Raven is about a series of murders based around Edgar Allen Poe's writings and Edgar Allen Poe has to try to stop them. The Raven is probably the worst of the runt of this week's movies. The reason The Raven isn't total crap is that the costume design is good and the first few minutes of the movie are interesting. Just the first few minutes. The Raven suffers from many problems like a stupid plot, pointless dialogue, and the special effects look horrific.
Overall if you are looking for a good horror movie go with The Cabin In The Woods.

 UEFA Euro 2012 is a DLC pack for FIFA 12. The game has been getting mediocre reviews; crappy compared to FIFA 12 which won Game Of The Year at the Canadian Video Game Awards. The big thing that makes this crap is that does not have that much content and it is overpriced. Though it is still OK fun.
Overall if you are a sports fan don't get this but if you are a FIFA fan this is a OK buy.
UEFA Euro 2012 is rated E.

Critics Consensus:The Pirates!-Band Of Misfits

Hi! We are Critics Consensus. We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is The Pirates!- Band Of Misfits which is a new animated kids comedy.

 

The Pirates!- Band Of Misfits is made by the same people who made Chicken Run and that got pretty good reviews so that is a good sign. It comes here because Pirates has been getting really good reviews. The reason you should bring your family to see Pirates is: it's animation is charming,fun to watch, and the perfect family movie. One of the only problems in this movie is that the jokes are a bit funny but they are kinda old.

Overall see this movie because you will be enjoyed by it. And isn't that what movies are for?

Critics Consensus: Risen 2: Dark Waters

 Risen 2: Dark Waters has been getting okay reviews and if you like pirates you might be into this however, it has useless skills, a bad combat system, it is a short game, and it by far isn't the best RPG out there. Though it may be best pirate RPG. The reasons that you should get this are it has good graphics and it is a fun game.
Overall if you like pirates and role playing games get this but role playing game fans wait till this goes on sale.

 The Moth Diaries has gotten really really bad scores from critics and might go on to win a Razzie. The reasons this movie sucks is it's a ripoff of Twilight, the storyline sucks, it is not fun to watch, it's predictable and the actors deliver a crappy performance.
Overall if you want to see this movie i have one word for you. DON'T.

Critics Consensus: Prototype 2

 Prototype 2 has gotten mostly positive reviews because it is a fun game, has a good storyline, has interesting characters and it's better than the first game in the series. The plot is different from the first game and that is a good thing even though the game has a few forgettable moments.
Overall if you are into action\adventure games or the Prototype series, you should get this. Though you may forget some of the scenes from the game a few years later.

Marley has been getting mostly positive reviews and here's why. Marley has a good soundtrack,it treats Bob Marley good,has wonderful performance footage and has Bob Marley instead of an actor. The problems are the movie feels a bit too long.
Marley has not been getting the box office money craze it deserves so if you are just a bit interested with this movie see it.

Critics Consensus:Trials:Evolution

Hi! We are Critics Consensus. We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is Trials: Evolution a sequel to the critically acclaimed Trials HD.

  When Trials HD came out it sold well, and  got amazing reviews. But can RedLynx continue the streak with Trials: Evolution?  YES they can. The average score for Trials: Evolution is a 9.0 and it actually got a 5\5 from Giant Bomb. The reason you need to buy this is that it's addicting in a good way,adds new game modes to the original Trials formula,multiplayer content,a good physics engine,and isn't that expensive. The only problem is the multiplayer could be better.
Overall this is a good week to be an Xbox 360 owner. Get the Witcher 2 then this. You will not regret it.

The Lucky One is a new romantic drama starring Zac Efron and Taylor Schilling. It is based on a book. It is about a military soldier finding a picture of a person he does not know and they meet and start to have a basic relationship.
The Lucky One has gotten negative reviews with a 3.0 out of 10 average. The things that make The Lucky One be The Sucky One this week is that it's predictable,Zac Efron and Taylor Schilling have bad chemistry,and the movie has no purpose to be made. The movie does not really have any good things about it either.
Overall just skip this one. You deserve to see a better movie.

 Think Like A Man a new romantic comedy.

Okay let's start. Think Like A Man is based off a book by Steve Harvey so if you are a  fan of that you are probably hyped. The thing is do not be hyped the average score for this movie is a 50 out of 100 which is mediocre. The problems with this movie are it's standard and tedious. The good things are the acting in the film is committed and it is a bit funny at times.
Overall if you want to see this movie you may want to rent it when it comes out on DVD or go see the movie laugh a couple times at the movie's jokes and then just realize you wasted 12 bucks.
Think Like A Man is rated PG-13.

Critics Consensus: Tribes Ascend

Tribes: Ascend is a reboot of the cult classic Tribes that came out in 2001. Tribes fans rejoice because this game isn't crap. The game has a 89 on Metacritic which is pretty high and has gotten a few 10's from critics. The reasons the game is good are it's fun,one of the best shooters in a while,good graphics,and good controls. To be honest the game does not really have any soft spots so it looks pretty good.
Overall if you want to get this game do and if you are a fan of shooters and haven't even heard of the series still get this.
Tribes: Ascend is rated T for Teen.

Critics Consensus: Chimpanzee

Chimpanzee has received mixed reviews with the average score being a 63. Most critics rated the film a 60 or higher and that was pretty much it which explains it's 58 out of 100 on Metacritic. The film is about a chimpanzee named Oscar. The good things about the film are it's educational,and has cool footage. One of the biggest problems about the movie is the narration is annoying and bland which takes the whole experience out.
Overall if you are looking for a movie to see with your kids this is an OK one but adults that do not have kids, there is no reason to see this movie.

The average score for The Witcher 2: Assassin's Of Kings- Enhanced Edition is a 9.0 which is pretty good considering critics these days.
 The Witcher 2: Assassin's Of Kings- Enhanced Edition is a port of the highly acclaimed PC version. As the average score shows, they didn't make a crappy port over to the Xbox 360. The Witcher 2 is the second Witcher and it is better than the first one. Reasons you should buy the game are it is not afraid to have mature themes, has a good combat model,excellent script, a fun world to explore, and more content than from the first edition. Though The Witcher 2 is good you may be put off by it's difficulty curve.
Overall if you want to get this game get it. Same with RPG fans or even just a regular gamer. The Witcher 2 should not be missed.

The problems about the movie are the movie does not show why one of the main characters is really generous man.
Overall if you are having a bad day go see this movie. You will be happy and it will make you think about life in a whole new way.

Disgea 3: Absence Of  Detention is a spinoff of the game Disgea 3 and is one of the first RPG's on the Playstation Vita. So far Disgea 3: Absence Of Detention has gotten mostly positive reviews (the lowest score being a 60 from GamesRadar.) and a 74 on Metacritic. The good things about the game are it's deeply engagingly, has tactical depth, has fun goofy humor, and it has a lot of content. The bad are it does not have the best graphics, and it has a bland story.
Overall if you are a fan of Disgea you should get this but RPG fans may find it lacking.

Critics Consensus: The Lady

 The Lady has received mostly negative reviews and the average score is a 40. The movie itself is about one lady trying to revolutionize Burma's democracy. The positive things about the movie are the main actress Michelle Yeoh does a good job acting and performing. The problems are The Lady is the directing is crappy,the movie is long,most of the movie is boring, and the script is written as if from Google Translate.
Overall if you want to see this movie don't but it might give you a good history lesson besides from the bad things about the movie.

Critics Consensus: Ketzal's Corridors

Ketzal's Corridors is a puzzle game about trying to restore a world by collecting hearts in different stages. Ketzal's Corridors has received mostly positive reviews the highest from IGN and the lowest from Eurogamer Spain. It has a 78 on Metacritic so that means it is good. The good things about the game are it makes good use of the 3D effect, has cool puzzles and is fun. The problem's are it's a bit expensive and is not addicting and and stressful at times.
Overall if you have a 3DS are a puzzle fan and want to shell some moola in order to get a cool game that is fun, you should get this.

Critics Consensus: Lockout

Hi! We are Critics Consensus. We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is Lockout a new action flick starring Guy Pearce.
Lockout is about a ex government agent who is assigned to rescue the government's daughter in a prison in space. Lockout hasn't been getting good reviews; and it's average score is a 4.5.
The good things about the movie are it's fun to watch but only fun if you forget that what is happening in the movie is super stupid. It also shows that Guy Pearce can be a reliable actor.
The bad things are the ending goes way to fast, is ridiculous, generic, and has annoying one liners.
So if you want to see Lockout really bad you can but don't remind yourself that the movie itself is crazy and stupid.
Lockout is rated PG-13.

Spirit Camera:The Cursed Memoir is a spinoff of the Fatal Frame series made by Tecmo. Pretty much every critic has given this game lower than a 6.0 especially Destructoid who gave it a 1.0 out of 10. What critics say is bad with this game is that it is interesting and uses the 3DS camera good. The problems are it's short, predictable and shallow. Overall if you want to get this game don't because it is not good but do buy it if you want a mediocre experience.

 The Three Stooges is a reboot of the TV series. The average score of The Three Stooges is a 50 (44 on Rotten Tomatoes, 54 on Metacritic.) So that means that the movie is mediocre (not bad, not good just in between.) The good things are the acting is good and that's pretty much it. The critics have said that the jokes are not funny,it's repetitive and the plot isn't the best. So overall if you are a fan of The Three Stooges you might have a few good laughs but overall the film falls flat.

 Fez is a indie puzzle platformer in which you control a figurine and you can switch the terrain he is standing on so it goes different directions so you can get to the exit. The good things about Fez are it is a unique fun game,good level design and great quality. The bad things are it has a few glitches and the game took 5 years to make so it might not be worth the wait. Overall if you want to get Fez you should because it will probably make your day with it's colorful art and smart level design.

That means the average score is a 8-ish and a good horror movie hasn't come out in a while so here is why the movie is so good; it's fun to watch,entertaining, and is so crazy that it does not lose it's direction. The bad things are it kinda ripoffs some other horror movies like Scream and Scary Movie. Overall if you go see The Cabin The Woods you will be pleasantly surprised.

The Splatters is a action puzzle game that involves liquid physics similar to the Konami game Puddle and the game De Blob.
The problems critics have with The Splatters is it isn't that long and it has some frustrating control issues.(from IGN.)
The good things about the game are it's enjoyable and has neat physics.
Overall if you want to get The Splatters, it looks like a good puzzle game to spend some of your time on.

A new thriller about a terrorist assault on a plane that took place in 1994. It also takes place from different points of views. The Assault currently has a 55 out of 100 on Metacritic which means it is mediocre. Critics say that it is a gripping and focused (from New York Post) but it has bad camera angles and exaggerates the event that the movie is based on. Overall if you want to see this movie, you might want to wait when it is available for rent on DVD or don't see it at all and forget about it.

Hi! We are Critics Consensus. We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is Skullgirls a downloadable 2-D brawler on PSN and Xbox Live.

Skullgirls is made by Reverge Labs which is an indie developer. It has a unique 2-D art style similar to the graphics in the Shank series. The Metacritic score for Skullgirls is a 77 out of 100. The problems critics have with the game are it's light on content and does not have the best tutorial. The good things are the finishing moves are fun to watch and it has a cool art style like I said. Most critics have not given Skullgirls a low score so if you are a fighting game fan this will be promising.

Critics Consensus: ATM

ATM is a horror thriller about a group of people that have to play cat and mouse with a mysterious person when they go to an ATM. Sounds pretty stupid. Well i was right ATM has a 34 out of 100 (currently) on Metacritic. The reasons this movie sucks is there is many plot holes and it manly copies the film Buried. The good things about this movie are the musical score. Which means the music is great while the rest of the film fails. Overall if your drunk and walk to see a horror movie that is terrible chances are you will go with ATM.

Hi! We are Critics Consensus. We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is Anomaly Warzone Earth a indie video game that appeared on Steam with a spin on the tower defense genre.
Since then it has now been ported to iOS platforms and now the Xbox 360.
So what is the critic's consensus you ask?
It has a 79 out of 100 on Metacritic and an 8.0 out of 10 on IGN which is considered great on the most popular video game website.
So that's basically the same as the Metacritic score. The problems critics have with the game are it's nerve wracking sometimes so you will probably get sweat all over your controller and it does not have good instructions. But all the critics have said, even though that they hated it that it was fun.
Overall if you love tower defense own an Xbox 360 and have Xbox Live than you should probably get this.
Anomaly Warzone Earth is rated E10+ (Everyone 10 and up.)

Damsels in Distress is a limited movie and usually limited movies are better than wide release movies. It holds currently a 71 out of 100 on Metacritic and the bad and good about the movie is,

1. It has boring one liners.
2. Plot isn't the best

Good:

1. It's funny.
2. Isn't too long.

Overall if you want to see this movie go and if you don't know anything about it you might see it and be delighted.

Xenoblade Chronicles is probably one of the last big Wii releases because if you didn't know the Wii is dead. It is also one of the last good games for the Wii and here's why. Xenoblade Chronicles is a JRPG (Japanese Role Playing Game) and is from Japan. The good things about the game are well there is a lot of good things. Some of them are; good level design, interesting characters, and a big world to explore. The bad things are that it might be a bit long. Xenoblade Chronicles has a 92 on Metacritic (currently) and is rated T for Teen. Overall if you have a Wii and are going to sell it at a garage sale, get this first.

Critics Consensus: American Reunion

American Reunion is a prequel to the movie American Pie and the sequel to American Pie 2. See how Hollywood is running out of ideas?
Anyway none of that now. American Reunion holds a 51 on Metacritic and a 7.1 on IMBD. That means that the average score is a 6.1-Okay. The problems that critics have with the movie are it's not that funny, at the beginning the characters are unlikeable and get's boring after a while.
The good is.... some of the actors make it be great and it has nostalgia if you are a fan of American Pie. Overall you may want to rent this when it comes out on DVD but if you are a fan, see it.
