Hi! We are Critics Consensus. We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is Sonic The Hedgehog 4: Episode II the sequel to 2010's Sonic The Hedgehog 4: Episode 1.
Sega's mascot is Sonic. Sonic has been everywhere even partnered with Mario sometimes. The question is the new Sonic good or does it tarnish the mascot? Sonic has had a rough couple of years. Sonic The Black Knight was not good and Sonic Generations didn't sell well. The new Sonic is downloadable so it's less expensive. We can already find a plus there. The game has OK gameplay and good physics but the music is annoying and unbearable. So for 15$ there isn't that much content. If you are a Sonic fan this might hit the spot.
Overall if you are a Sonic fan it is a bit of a cash grab but it isn't a total waste of time. If you do not play Sonic there is no need to get this.

Ugh another week another dramadey movie. This one's based off an 80's self help book. What To Expect When You're Expecting has been panned by critics. Well let's see why. What To Expect When You're Expecting is not really that funny,the whole movie is fictional even for a comedy,and a boring crappy story. The best thing about What To Expect When You're Expecting is that the jokes that are funny are really funny.
Overall stay away from this one. You might see it on cable TV when they are playing a movie and you will think ,this is why I didn't see this movie.

Game Of Thrones is a TV show on HBO. Critically acclaimed they decided to make a game out of it. Looks like this one needed way more time in the oven. Game Of Thrones takes everything good that the TV show had cuts 93% of the good and replaces it with things gamers despise like poor graphics and voice acting with no effort put into it. There is also some more crap too. Game Of Thrones also suffers from a depressing story (I mean really depressing.), repetitive combat, and 20 hours or so before the game becomes mediocre. That's right mediocre.
Overall stay away from this one. If you are a strict Game Of Thrones fan rent this to see if you like it.

Hi! We are Critics Consensus. We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is Battleship which is the movie that proves Hollywood is running out of ideas by making a movie about a board game.
Battleship proves that the week of May 18 2012 was not a good week for movies. First we suffered The Dictator, then this mess called Battleship comes along. Battleship is basically what the commercials say. 2 hrs and 10 minutes of explosions, destruction,shouts, aliens, and ships. Battleship has impressive special effects though. That does not make out for the lack of any character personality, a lousy plot, and the writing is horrible.
Overall if you loved the Transformers movies, this is the same piece of crap. Go see it then. If you kinda want to see it, there are much better ways to spend your time this week.
Battleship is rated PG-13.
