Sometimes movies have good feelings towards something but they just completely fail. Take the newly released Won't Back Down for example a movie about two mothers trying to save their struggling school system. Rotten Tomatoes Critics Consensus said that the actors mean well but the movie fails altogether anyway. Well why you might ask? Los Angeles Times called the film bogus the Chicago Tribune called the film's script polemical and lastly the Miami Herald called the film boring.
Overall do not see this movie unless you really want to.

Critics Consensus: Hotel Transylvania

Hi! We are Critics Consensus. We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is Hotel Transylvania a new animated movie from the people that brought you Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs.

When it gets close to Halloween there is always a Halloween themed movie. It could be a SAW movie or a Chucky movie but rarely a kids movie. Halloween related kids movies have really mediocore track records for example Igor, Hocus Pocus, and The Goonies. Well you can add one to the list. Hotel Transylvania will probably be fun for the whole family but as an actual movie the underdeveloped story and jokes you can see coming from a mile away take all the fun away unless you are a little kid which The New Orleans Times said. Chigaco Tribune also complained about Adam Sanders crappy voice acting for Dracula and lastly Portland Oregonian said the only funny scenes in the movie were from Steve Buscemi.
Overall only see this movie if you have kids.

Critics Consensus: Looper

NOTE: This post will be more complicated then previous one's because this is a giant release for the movie industry. So why not have a giant post? 
Hi! We are Critics Consensus. We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is Looper a new sci-fi time travel movie.

Plot\Writing:
Tampa Bay Times praised the way Looper puzzle engages your brain with it's satisfying script. Christian Science Monitor loved the dialogue. The only problem with the plot is that it may mess with your brain cells as Ozus' World Movie Reviews stated but if it makes you think and be intrigued by the tension by the story-line it is worth it.
Acting:
The Hollywood Reporter praised the main stars in the movies acts such as Bruce Willis, Jospeh Gordon Levitt, and lastly Emily Blunt. Arizona Republic thought that Willis's perofrmance was better in Moonrise Kingdom but nevertheless and amazing performance. Lastly New York Daily News called Willis's performance on of his best. So Bruce Willis is definitely the best actor in this movie but the other actors performances are still amazing.
Special Effects\Cinematography:
Examiner.com praised the cinematography,but no other critics praised or even talked about the special effects as I looked so this will just be empty.
Overall:
Looper is a amazing movie and that's just about it. You should see it as much as you can. Looper is a complete masterpiece.

Crazy Japanese Game Time! Hell Yeah:Wrath Of The Dead Rabbit is about a zombie bunny who kills a bunch of crap or something. Well for Gamespot at least, Hell Yeah was a game that came from hell because they gave it a 4.0 out of 10 but for Machinima it was a game from heaven. GamingXP also called it funny, cool, and they loved the art style. They both gave it a 8.5 and called it a bunch of fun but beware because 50% of the reviews were negative on this one. 
Overall only get this game if you want to but first get the demo.

Critics Consensus: Dead Or Alive 5

Hi! We are Critics Consensus. We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is a new Dead Or Alive game!

The Dead Or Alive franchise is mostly known for it's massive amounts of cleavelage and sensuality. Well 2010's Dead Or Alive was a disaster because they paid no attention to gameplay and too much attention to sensuality. Dead Or Alive fans were hoping that DOA 5 is good and it kinda is. Official Xbox Magazine and Game Informer both gave it 6 out of 10's because there was no improvement from the last Dead Or Alive. However ZTGameDomain gave it a 9 praising the 2 new characters, mechanics, and content which is the exact opposite of what Game Informer said. 
Overall only get this game if you are a Dead Or Alive fan or a pervert.

Critics Consensus: Trouble With The Curve

Hi! We are Critics Consensus. We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is a new Clint Eastwood movie involving baseball.

Luckily Trouble With The Curve is not having too much trouble from critics with reviews ranging in the mid 50's. Cinemalogue.com complained about no emotional impact,Wall Street Journal complained about the movie being to long, and lastly Schmoes Know complained about the repetitive script. Trouble With The Curve is not that terrible because the acting is good. Thanks Clint. You saved this movie.
Overall if you saw Moneyball and loved it this will disappoint you so go for a matinee.

Critics Consensus: End Of Watch

Hi! We are Critics Consensus. We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is End Of Watch a new cop thriller starring Jake Gyllenhaal.

Buddy-cop movies are kinda a thing of the past. Well a 70 on Metacritic and a 85% on Rotten Tomatoes show that Jake Gyllenhaal and Micheal Pena make the perfect team? Roger Ebert said it was one of the greatest cop movies in recent years,Metro Times praised the performances,and MediaMikes praised the documentary\found footage style of the movie. The only problems with the movie is the final act which keeps the movie from being really really good.
Overall see this movie. The must see movie of the week is right in front of you.

End Of Watch is rated R.

Critics Consensus: The House At The End Of The Street (HATES)

Hi! We are Critics Consensus. We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is a new horror movie starring Jennifer Lawrence.

Coincidentally House At The End Of The Street's viral hash-tag was HATES. Well most critics hate HATES (see what I did there) and it is generic as it's title suggests as Rotten Tomatoes stated in their Critics Consensus. The only positive reviews came from Village Voice and ReviewsOnTheRun with a 7 but everybody else pretty much slammed the movie into the ground. FEARnet called it a sleepover night movie made for teenagers who have never seen a good horror movie (you read my mind.) Total Film also called the film's main lead (Jennifer Lawrence) another actor in a movie portrayed as a scantily clad women being chased by a non scary ghost\monster\murderer\psycho.
Overall please do not see this movie. Unless you think a 13% is a good score.

The House At The End Of The Street is rated PG-13.

Critics Consensus: LittleBigPlanet (PSVita)

Hi! We are Critics Consensus. We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is the Playstation Vita version of LittleBigPlanet.

LittleBigPlanet was critically acclaimed upon it's release with a 95 on Metacritic. Well does the Playstation Vita port live up to the hype? Well an 87 on Metacritic on Metacritic does not lie. 10\10 from GamingAge and 21 9 out of 10's. Vandal Online called it one of the best games on the Playstation Vita. Playstation Life praised the amount of user created content so that means there is a level editor! Lastly Canadian Online Gamers called it a wonderful addition to the franchise.
Overall get this game. You may have a giant hole in your wallet from Borderlands 2 and FIFA 13 but if you do not run to the store and get this.

LittleBigPlanet is rated E on both PSVita and Playstation 3.

Critics Consensus: Dredd 3D

Hi! We are Critics Consensus. We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is Dredd 3D a reboot of the 90's movie Judge Dredd.

Well there is good news and bad news about Dredd 3D. You will not dread Dredd 3D like the 90's adaptation Judge Dredd but the scenes with floating pieces of brain and intestine may make you want to puke and more specifically dread Dredd 3D as ReviewsOnTheRun stated in their video review. Entertianment Weekly praised the techno soundtrack, USA Today praised the special effects and visuals,and lastly Film School Rejects praised the slow motion cinematography. However, The A.V. Club gave it a negative review and was disgusted by it's ultra violent script (worse than The Human Centipede.) and The New York Post called it cheesy.
Overall only see this movie if you want to. You may want to bring a barf bag.

Dredd 3D is rated R.

Critics Consensus: FIFA 13

He kicks, the ball flies into the air into the goal is it going to make it? YES! It did! The game is over FIFA 13 has won good reviews from critics, with all reviews ranging from 95-85 out of 100. Meristation praised the improvements from it's predecessor and IGN praised the Kinect functionality. That's right a game that you can use Kinect and it is not crap!  Lastly Gameblog.fr praised the evolution of FIFA to what has come now. Oh I am back. Looks likes the sportscasters took the post for me. Thanks
Overall get this game. If you are not a soccer fan still get it.

Critics Consensus: 10 Years

Hi! We are Critics Consensus. We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is 10 Years a new romantic comedy with Channing Tatum.

Channing Tatum has not been in a lot of good movies. Well a 62% is better than a 32% (The Eagle) but why did that happen? The A.V. Club praised the cast,but the biggest problem with 10 Years is that it is not really a comedy because it is not very funny. By the way Variety said that and Movieline. The New York Magazine also complained about how the cast does virtually nothing.
Overall if you want to see this movie go but you might regret it.

Hi! We are Critics Consensus. We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is Borderlands 2.

Graphics:

Xbox360Achivements called it brimmed with color,Gameblog.fr praised the design overall which basically means art is good, gameplay is good etc. Those quotes were the only ones I could find out for the art direction, graphics etc but just one stare at the box art will give you a pretty good idea what it looks like.

Gameplay:

BigPondGameArena praised the loot system,GameInformer praised the co-op gameplay,and Xbox360Achivements called it fun to play. There is also great character customization and easter eggs for example a Minecraft easter egg.

Other (Sound,Plot):

Game Informer called the writing and dialogue hilarious, but the only small setback is a confusing plot said by many critics.

Overall:

What are you waiting for? Run to the store right now? Unless it is midnight, but seriously buy this game now.

Critics Consensus: Resident Evil:Retribution

Hi! We are Critics Consensus. We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is a new Resident Evil movie.

We have now come to the point that if you just watched a mere random 5 minutes of every Resident Evil movie, you would think it all comes from the same movie. The Hollywood Reporter explained that the series was repetitive and so was this movie. ScreenCrush was really negative calling it one of the dumbest things to be crafted by human hands. The critics that did give a positive review for example Slant Magazine, Entertainment Weekly, and Village Voice only gave it a positive review because it was just plain dumb fun. 
Overall see this movie if you want to but I bet 5 dollars that you will be looking at your watch sometime in the movie.

Critics Consensus: Tekken Tag Tournament 2

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is a game that will break your tongue because of all the T's in it's title. However it will not break your controller by throwing it against the wall according to critics. Tekken Tag Tournament 2 or (TTT2 for short) was given a 10\10 by DigitalSpy,and GameTrailers called it the best Tekken game in a while. Why you ask? Great tutorial,great gameplay,amazing customization and much more. By the way that was mentioned in IGN's review, Vandal Online's review and Digital Spy's review.
Overall get this game. That is all.

NHL 13 is a new NHL game. Hey what else was I supposed to say? Well anyways ReviewsOnTheRun praised how the game has no glitches,Canadian Online Gamers called it the most complete edition yet,and Gaming Nexus praised the gameplay improvements. However, it is not a very big update as Official Xbox Magazine stated and Game Informer complained about the AI. So wait till this is on sale at Walmart or something if you kinda wanna get it.
Overall only get this game if you want to.

Critics Consensus: Bachelorette

Hi! We are Critics Consensus. We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is Bachelorette a new romantic comedy.

Remember Bridesmaids?  Well a new movie that is very similar to Bridesmaids has come out. Only problem is that it is not that good as Bridesmaids. Reviews were very mixed such as Reelviews giving it a 0 out of 10 and using the word "damnation" to describe the movie while The New York Times gave it a 9 out of 10 and called it the female equivalent of The Hangover. The acting was the most praised by critics and the Boston Globe liked Kirsten Dunst's performance. The thing about Bachelorette is that it is not as funny as it should be. Just read the New York Post review.
Overall see this movie if you wanna and do not see it if you do not want to see it.

Beware of the Lionsgate curse. The Lionsgate curse is a very bad disease in which you see a crappy Lionsgate movie. Movies that are affiliated with the Lionsgate curse are The Possession, What To Expect When You're Expecting,Step Up Revolution,Madea's Witness Protection and now The Cold Light Of The Day. Entertainment Weekly said that this was a ripoff of The Bourne Identity in a bad way, CommonSenseMedia called it amazingly dumb and lastly The New York Times called it a catastrophe.
Overall do not see this movie but recommend it to an enemy. The enemy will want to die.

Critics Consensus: Mark of The Ninja

Remember Shank? Remember Eets? Well those same guys that brought you those games have brought you Mark Of The Ninja. It has one point away from getting a 90 on Metacritic and it is not like that is and easy thing to do. Official Xbox Magazine said it was a brilliant approach to stealth games, EGM praised the games mechanics and in game items, EDGE Magazine praised the visuals and lastly IGN called it a contender for Xbox Live Game Of The Year 2012. 
Overall is that enough to make you wanna get the game because you should no matter what.

The Words stars Bradley Cooper and Zoe Saldana in a story about a book-writer accused for plagiarism. Well ironically critics did not really say good words about the words. The only positive things about this movie are the performances which were praised by ReelViews but The New York Post said that it was funny unintentionally which pretty mush means the script is pretty screwed up right there and The New York Post said the soundtrack was syrupy and they complained about the direction.
Overall do not see this movie.

NOTE: This movie was covered late because September is usually the time the box office gets the least money and no one sees a movie.

I could literally sum up this post in one sentence. That sentence would be that two crappy horror movies just came out back to back. Hollywood we have come to a new low. The Possession is about a box that possesses or some crap like that. Washington Post praised the pace. Then we look at the negative side. It is littered with cliches and the script is poorly written. Those comments came from The Toronto Globe And Mail and The New York Post by the way.
Overall do not see this movie.
