Last years WiiU port of Scribblenauts Unlimited was the go to title for the WiiU as it showed it's processing power and it's insanely entertaining gameplay. Well the next Scribblenauts is now relying on Warner Bros's franchises. One of those is DC. Let's see how Unmasked fairs. Unfortunately Unmasked is a little bit of a disappointment. While the game is still fun as it always is the combat is wonky as GameInformer stated and jumps feel really floaty. It's still a great game but Unlimited is better. Overall if you were looking forward to this game you can go either way. Stick with Unlimited to save money or purchase the new one. Scribblenauts Unmasked is rated E10+.

Chris Hemsworth has not really shown is acting power in the past few years. The Avengers was not a movie really based off of performances (though it was a amazing nevertheless) Red Dawn flopped and Snow White was a low point for Hemsworth. However many fans of his films have been looking forward to Rush as it is his most serious role yet. Let's find out if his performance is worth while and also the movie. Rush is a masterpiece, and thankfully it saves us from good movie drought we've been getting in the past few weeks. The acting is phenomenal from both leading roles as the Chicago Sun Times says and the movie carries immense emotional weight leading it to be heavily entertaining. Overall see this movie. When Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs and Despicable Me came out in 2010 they were clearly respectable movies that showed how Sony Pictures Animation was trying to be the next PIXAR. 1. They can't because they have a generic name but whatever. Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs was a box office smash and with any movie close to that margin of money gets a sequel! How suprising.
Thankfully Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs 2 is not the fly in the soup most critics and moviegoers expected it to be as it has a 58 on Metacritic as well on RottenTomatoes. It's not a fantastic movie by any means but it certainly is not going to leave a bad taste in your mouth. It's funny and certainly to give some laughs for the kids.

Joseph Gordon Levvit has grown to much acclaimed fame in the last few years and has not appeared in a really bad film too. From 50\50,The Dark Knight Rises,Premium Rush and Lincoln none of his recent movies have flopped critically or commercially. Now he has a new directorial debut. A comedy about a ladie's man and his pron addiction. Now while that may sound weird and off putting Don Jon surprisingly is not. Don Jon currently holds a 65 on Metacritic and a 81% on RottenTomatoes with critics all across the board like Detroit News,Kaplan vs Kaplan, and Rolling Stone calling it funny,pleasantly entertaining, and showcases the incredible amount of talent Joseph Gordon Levvit has at his fingertips. When Lone Survivor came out it was an indie sensation for it being super creepy as a survival horror when it took place in a 2-D plane. It was creepy,intense and interesting. And that was all the reasons it became such a hit. Now it's being ported to Vita and PS3. But does it deliver the same brand of quality? Let's find out. While Lone Survivor is repetitive as PocketGamer UK stated it is still a great game with a great atmosphere and aesthetic. It's unique as Kotaku praised and nothing comes close to the experience with this. If you are not a PC gamer but own a Playstation Vita or PS3 this is a must buy. Overall get this game. During the last few weeks there has not been that much to see in theaters. There was One Direction,Riddick was a dud, and Getaway was atrocious. Let's hope Prisoners clears that September fog. Prisoners is not a feel good September movie nor a masterpiece but it's certainly something to get you into theaters. The acting is very good with great performances from all the cast including Hugh Jackman as The New Yorker said. It's also very gripping even though the film is somewhat disturbing. Overall see this if you want to. Prisoners is rated R.

Unfortunately Foul Play is not a Castle Crashers,Scott Pilgrim or a Charlie Murder as IGN Italia said. Luckily Foul Play is a good way to kill time but unfortunately it's very repetitive and lacks a lot of depth though the story and gameplay keep you in for the ride as God Is A Geek stated. Foul Play is good if you have a brother and a friend over so buy it if that ever so happens.

Well it's finally here. While my blog has not been on the internet enough for the exclamatory excitement of GTA IV being the highest game on Metacritic we still remember that day where GTA IV was considered one of the greatest games of all time if not the best. Well believe it or not it's time to shove that all into the ground. Grand Theft Auto Five is bigger,more detailed and most of all better. At least we think that by Rockstar's track record. Anyway you have probably seen that this game has decrowned GTA IV on Metacritic as the highest rated game of all time. Let's find out way. In the ways Skyrim was a revolutionary behemoth in the year of 2011 Grand Theft Auto 5 is a revolutionary achievement for this generation. In just ten years we went from the blocky graphic textures of GTA 3 to open clear worlds with AI acting as if they were real. As Gameplanet stated, this game is the pinnacle of this console generation. Nearly every score for GTA V is a 10\10 beating maybe GOTY The Last Of Us into submission. The writing is pitch perfect and causes you to laugh at every line. The characters though they seem scarce in personality are some of the most vivid and amazing personalities not just in video games but in media in general. The world is gigantic and even with 35 hours of playing you won't see every crevice. GTA V is a masterpiece. Black Ops:Declassified was a bust. Resistance:Falling Skies was a dud. These were all upcoming shooters for the Playstation Vita based off of respectable franchises and ended up being crap. Killzone:Mercenary is one of the last of these. But will it follow the same bad track record that Playstation Vita FPS's have? Let's find out. Killzone:Mercenary is not a masterpiece by any means but it certainly is better than the other games I mentioned in the last paragraph. Mercenary looks amazing,is fun as hell to play, and the multiplayer will keep you playing for months. Finally a must-buy for the Vita. Robert De Niro used to create many many serious good movies about gangsters,mobs and etc. Now that The Family was announced a couple of months ago the movie looked serious and cool. And then they added the comedy aspect to it. And we all know how bad The Big Wedding went. The Family is not another Big Wedding even those movies sound very similar. It's a bad movie by a lot of means such as relying on the same joke countless times,boring and uninventive and just plain unnecessary. The original Insidious should have been crap. It really should have been crap. It was written,directed,and produced from the same people that made such films as Paranormal Activity 2 and the SAW franchise. But the movie had many comical breaks,good acting and scares when you would not expect it. It became a hit. Now FilmDistrict wants to rank in some more cash with a popular name but is it any good? Insidious 2 is definitely not for everyone. Some critics such as Austin Chronicle and Time Out London gave it scores lower than a 20 and said that the movie was lazy stupid and incoherent. The film does have good acting and the scares that work are really scary and creepy unfortunately Insidious Chapter 2 does not reach to it's highest heights. Overall only see this if you really want to. Insidious:Chapter 2 is rated PG-13.

Amnesia was a breakthrough horror hit released just at the end of 2010 and has then since raised a generous cult following thanks to youtuber's like Pewdiepie and MARKplier. A sequel was finally announced last year but is it worth the wait? Amnesia:A Machine For Pigs has been getting very mixed reviews ranging from a 37\100 from ActionTrip to a 91\100 on Multiplayer.it. Maybe it's because it's a very ambitious game and more flawed than the original. The level design could be better but the storyline will keep you in. Unfortunately it's very short clocking at 4 hours. Overall only get this if you want to. Amnesia:A Machine For Pigs is rated M.

All the big sports games are released in the next couple of weeks such as NHL 14,Pro Evolution Soccer 2014,FIFA 14 and more. I know you porbably don't have enough money to shell 60 dollars when each one of these comes out so let's give the verdict on NHL 14.
NHL 14 is another amazing installment. Surprisingly the NHL series is one of the best sports sims to date beating Madden and NCAA in Metacritic averages. It's a shame that more people don't play it. It's insanely worth it due to it's great physics engine,realistic graphics and commentary and most importantly of all great Canadian fun. (Cited:EGM,Post Arcade,Canadian Online Gamers)
Overall get this game if you love hockey but wait if you can only buy one of these regular sports anthologies.

Vin Diesel is now a powerhouse because of the Fast & The Furious franchise but before that he was known for such movies as Riddick and Saving Private Ryan. Now as Universal is rebooting Riddick let's see if it is maybe better than the original. (The original does not hold up that well) Unfortunately not. While Riddick is not a horrible movie it is certainly not one to reinvigorate the franchise. Well Vin Diesel is still a badass as The Guardian stated the film's writing can get a little bit dry and bland with cheap special effects as Las Vegas Weekly said. Riddick is a meh movie. So overall only see this if you really want to. Riddick is rated R.

Diablo 3 was supposed to be a behemoth and it was. Well sort of. If Error Code 43 was gone and PvP were included it could have been played to this day. It was but still not the giant surprise everybody expected. Now that Diablo 3 is on console will it fix those problems? Apparently yes to critics. Diablo 3 holds a 86 for the Xbox 360 version and a 85 for Playstation 3. GameInformer praised it's new control scheme and the insanely fun four player co-op and less online hurdles it seems that if you ever were going to get Diablo 3 this is definitely the version to get, You will not regret it. Overall get this game. Diablo 3 is rated M.

Rayman Origins was a success in many ways and is even known as one of the best platformers of all time. Unfortunately it did not do to well in sales but for some reason Ubisoft is making another one. Oh Ubisoft I can't stay mad at you. Even though i'm still waiting for Beyond Good And Evil 2.
Rayman Legends is near perfect according to many critics such as VideoGamerTV, Cubed3, and Gaming Trend. It's not the amazement that Origins was and they have scaled down the difficulty a little bit but the game is some of the best platformer co-op in generations and it looks beautiful. Also people are saying that this is becoming the next Mario and you can't get beat with the new Kung Foot mode.

Focus Features hardly ever delivers a disappointment. Whether it's the stop-motion phenomenon's from Laika or the biblical films that are sleeper hits Focus usually hits the right notes. Like even The World's End came out last week and that was amazing. Unfortunately that does not work this time Closed Circuit is not a bad movie and the acting is certainly there it's just that the script is predictable and full of plot holes as NPR and New York Daily News stated. Closed Circuit definitely has potential it's just it should have been more fleshed out. Overall see this only if you want to. Closed Circuit is rated R.

In early 2013 Warner Bros bought a deal with Dark Castle Entertainment to publish their movies. The first one was Bullet In The Head and that was supposed to be Sylvester Stallone's comeback but no one saw it. He still owns debt on that movie. Now one of the last movies from Dark Castle is set to be released. Hate to break it to you Ethan Hawke but a 2% aint looking so good.
Yep. That's the score Getaway has on RottenTomatoes and I doubt it will get any better. At Friday it had a 0%. You ask why? Getaway is insanely generic and just to top that insanely fast paced FOR THE WHOLE ENTIRE MOVIE. If you do ever see this movie due to someone torturing you, bring popcorn as a life preserver.

GameInformer rarely ever gives a 2.0 or a 3.0. But 2013 is now and all the awes it has brought us such as The Last Of Us,Tomb Raider, and Bioshock Infinite come with a price. It seems that every amazing game comes with a god-awful game and that is no exception when it comes to TMNT:Out Of The Shadows.
Technical limitations scatter this game off the charts
The environments are reminiscent of a PSone title
The character models are graphically outdated.
Level depending enemies sometimes disappear before tutorials causing restarts of entire half hour sessions.
Co-op text is so small it's unreadable.
Occasional texture pop-ups and fragments
Invisible Walls are nearly everywhere.
You sometimes can fall through the floor.

Every year there is a new Call Of Duty, Madden, and FIFA. Every year the quality either increases or decreases. But because so many people play Madden they probably won't know the difference. But if you're a football diehard let's see if Madden 25 is for you. Madden 25 is not perfect with technical setbacks and glitches askew but it is definitely a good purchase of sixty for a football fan. Whether it be the realistic injuries if a player get's hurt, new and improved graphics and physics and updated commentary Madden 25 certainly deserves it's 81 on Metacritic.
