Things have gotten a bit dimmer and darker in the Batman: Arkham City universe once Joker died. Well now Harley Quinn has a revenge scheme. Harley Quinn's Revenge has a 70 on Metacritic which is surprising considering that Batman: Arkham City has a 96. Official Xbox Magazine was disappointed with Harley Quinn's Revenge saying that it was a reheated dish of bland bat. Most critics said the same thing. While this is a fabulous game, it's repetitive, short, and too pricy. Though you can play as Robin. Batman: Arkham City was one of the best games of the 2011 but when DLC comes out that gets a 70 you start to wonder what happened. Overall get this if you may but in 2 hours you'll be done with it and you will want more and realized that was not worth 10$ also.

Every year a movie comes out of nowhere, gets amazing reviews audience and critics, and probably is going to snag an Oscar. This year it is Moonrise Kingdom. Moonrise Kingdom has a 82 on Metacritic which is an amazing feat considering the amount of pissed critics out there and a 96% on Rotten Tomatoes. Well Moonrise Kingdom is a masterpiece. Salon.com exclaimed it was hilarious. The A.V Club gave it a 10\10. Other critics such as Village Voice said it was shot beautifully but pretty much every critic out there praised the films exquisite humor. Overall Moonrise Kingdom is a must see. No matter what there is no excuse you should not see this wonderfully crafted movie.

Just like what happened with Uncharted:Golden Abyss, if a Playstation 3 series is having a game on the PSVita, it's made by a different company. Well this developer screwed things up. Resistance: Burning Skies has a 60 on Metacritic. Some of the less known video game journalism companies gave it a high score for example, Playstation LifeStyle and Game Trailers loved the game stating that it had great multiplayer. Well IGN thought different saying that the multiplayer was simplistic and gave it a 5.5. Overall this is a love or hate game. Do not take the chance and waste money with this one. Yes their has not been a great shooting experience on the Vita, (Uncharted:Golden Abyss is a action adventure.) though time will come. This is just not it.

After the amazing sales of the Kinect, Sony forgot about their Playstation Move. Now Sony needs money. So now they release a new game for the Playstation Move with a slight twist, its an RPG. The critics consensus for Sorcery is that it is one of the best Playstation Move games but does not live up to a decent console experience. Another example of a bad side about this is that some critics such as GameInformer complained about the controls. Overall Sorcery is not a must buy. Sorry but the extraordinary PSMove title has a long way to come.

Well bad news for fans of Paranormal Activity, this is the crappiest movie of the week. Why you ask well I have proof not only is Chernobyl Diaries short on suspense and originality,not as scary as most horror movies,dumb and boring. Oh and MovieLine,The A.V. Club,USA Today,The New York Times, and Slate hated it, the highest score for it is a 67. Overall wipe this movie away from your mind. You should never see this ever. Even if you are a bad person you do not deserve this atrocious movie.

Mario has created a bucketload of sports games,literally. So when Nintendo though about it why not release a 3D tennis Mario? Well, Mario Tennis Open has been getting OK reviews. On the plus side was ReviewsOnTheRun,GameInformer, and Gaming Age. On the negative side was DigitalSide, Gamespot, and Games Radar. All critics felt the game was fun and enjoyable and it did not have those annoying perks there is in every Mario sports game. Though almost all critics also said that the game didn't offer enough content for 40$. Overall if you are a Mario fan what are you waiting for? If you own a 3DS and need a good sports game, just please rent this. 40$ isn't worth 2 hours of gameplay.

Men In Black is one of those franchises that Hollywood turns to when they need a new movie specifically a blockbuster,now in 2012 Men In Black 3 is here after 9 years of waiting. Well the critics consensus for Men In Black III is meh. Entertianment Weekly,New York Times, Time Out New York, and USA Today loved the movie. They liked it because of good acting, funny jokes and it is actually fun to watch. Almost every critics specified in their review is that Josh Brolin's performance was amazing even if they hated the movie. An example of a critic who hated it was Time. They thought the movies scenes were trash and not in the correct order. Overall if you liked the first Men In Black you may be a bit disappointed but believe me you will not waste your time. If you hated Men In Black II don't see this. Lastly if you have not seen any of the Men In Black movies this is an okay start. Just watch the first Men In Black too. That movie is much better than this.

Capcom is mostly known for making fighting games and a lot's of them. Then a new IP rolls in that shows that Capcom is making a RPG. People are suprised. Well they should be even more because Dragon's Dogma turned out OK. Gamer.no gave it a surprising 9\10 praising it for it's gripping gameplay and that it's really fun. Though one of the few negative reviews was Joystiq with a 4\10 they said the game had oppressive flaws. The regular critics consensus is that Dragon's Dogma has a few flaws here and there and there is little online functionality but overall it is mostly fun for what it is. Overall if you want to get this game of course by all means. Though if you aren't sure that you need 60$ burned out of your wallet just pass.

The Lovely Molly has some pretty interesting things about it. The movie is directed by the same guy (Eduardo Sanchez) the same guy who wrote and directed the cult classic horror movie "The Blair Witch Project." That has a 85% on Rotten Tomatoes. This does not stand close to The Blair Witch Project. Lovely Molly currently holds a 47% on Rotten Tomatoes and a 50 on Metacritic. As far as the critics reviews shows you are either going to love it or hate it. New York Times said that it generated suspense without blowing the special effects budget and a few critics agreed that it had a good script considering the pacing. Most critics such as Stephen Witty complained about the film's shaky camera angle. The funny thing is every critic agreed that The Blair Witch Project was far more superior to this. Overall if you really want to see this movie you might like it. Though if you hate it you wasted 1hour and 39 minutes that you could've spent watching The Blair Witch Project. Lovely Molly is rated R.

Though Call Of Duty is the juggernaut of the gaming industry,third person shooters have started to receive some more sunlight. Starhawk was good, Max Payne 3 was great, and now Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Future Soldier is here. Though does it kill it's competition or is it a mediocre game that is parachuted into a crowded genre? Well critics say that Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Future Soldier is probably the best game of the week, (the other games will be covered on Thursday and Friday) it does not have a few problems. It has a 79 on Metacritic and hasn't gotten a 10 from a critic so it could be way better well why? Gamereactor Denmark stated "It's not a perfect game, as parts of the story, some cutscenes and a few
graphical missteps in some of the indoor environments disrupt the
picture". Though Joystiq and Machinima did love the game because of it's fun gameplay.
Overall if you want to get this get it but do not forget that Max Payne 3 came out and that is a bit better then this.

Well one just did. Before I say the obvious which is not to see this movie, let's find out why this movie sucks. Well Virginia has a confusing plot that goes all over the place,has predictable twists,boring scenes, and it is a comedy and a drama at the same time which is a bad mix. Overall please don't even think about seeing this movie. A 0% does not lie.

Sega's mascot is Sonic. Sonic has been everywhere even partnered with Mario sometimes. The question is the new Sonic good or does it tarnish the mascot? Sonic has had a rough couple of years. Sonic The Black Knight was not good and Sonic Generations didn't sell well. The new Sonic is downloadable so it's less expensive. We can already find a plus there. The game has OK gameplay and good physics but the music is annoying and unbearable. So for 15$ there isn't that much content. If you are a Sonic fan this might hit the spot. Overall if you are a Sonic fan it is a bit of a cash grab but it isn't a total waste of time. If you do not play Sonic there is no need to get this.

What To Expect When You're Expecting is not really that funny,the whole movie is fictional even for a comedy,and a boring crappy story. The best thing about What To Expect When You're Expecting is that the jokes that are funny are really funny. Overall stay away from this one. You might see it on cable TV when they are playing a movie and you will think ,this is why I didn't see this movie.

Game Of Thrones is a TV show on HBO. Critically acclaimed they decided to make a game out of it. Looks like this one needed way more time in the oven. Game Of Thrones takes everything good that the TV show had cuts 93% of the good and replaces it with things gamers despise like poor graphics and voice acting with no effort put into it. There is also some more crap too. Game Of Thrones also suffers from a depressing story (I mean really depressing.), repetitive combat, and 20 hours or so before the game becomes mediocre. That's right mediocre. Overall stay away from this one. If you are a strict Game Of Thrones fan rent this to see if you like it.

Battleship proves that the week of May 18 2012 was not a good week for movies. First we suffered The Dictator, then this mess called Battleship comes along. Battleship is basically what the commercials say. 2 hrs and 10 minutes of explosions, destruction,shouts, aliens, and ships. Battleship has impressive special effects though. That does not make out for the lack of any character personality, a lousy plot, and the writing is horrible. Overall if you loved the Transformers movies, this is the same piece of crap. Go see it then. If you kinda want to see it, there are much better ways to spend your time this week.

Graphics: Diablo wasn't really known for it's graphics and same here. The graphics in Diablo are those of a regular game though some of the opening cutscenes look very good and realistic. Diablo is known for gameplay not graphics and that's where we go next. Gameplay: Diablo III has multiplayer and single player. So there's an impressive amount of content. The gameplay itself is fun and addicting but the game is very short. You are probably going to be playing online and that is the impressive feat of the game. Other: (Sound,Plot,etc.) Diablo III does not have an impressive story and the story is kinda linear. The sound sounds professional though. Overall if you want to get Diablo III get it but it is not the giant improvement that the series could've gotten. So if you aren't looking for a giant improvement you should get this.

The Dictator is in the list of standout mockumentaries starting with Borat. Well that made bucket-loads of money. What about a sequel? Already Done. Spiritual Successor here we come. The average score for The Dictator is a 6.0. So that's OK. The Dictator is offensive, funny, so offensive it's funny and that really is all there is too it. You're not going to get an amazing experience here. The whole thing is basically half baked.
Overall if you want to see The Dictator really badly you can and you will probably like it though if you kinda want to see it, not seeing it would save you time and money.

Max Payne is back. Though this time he's a bit older then before but still ready to take a fight. The million dollar question is does Max Payne still stand up to critics? Well hell yes. Max Payne 3 currently has a 87 on Metacritic and the lowest score was a 7.0. Max Payne 3 has a great control system,a great aiming system,the multiplayer is fun,a great plot, and it's just good to see old Max again.
Overall if you are a fan of shooters or the Rockstar company buy this, actually you have probably even bought it now. Well wasn't that money well spent?

Every week a movie comes out based on something. Usually it's a book. Sometimes its a TV show. And barely ever it's a video game. Well the old book is coming around. Based off a book Girl In Progress is about a teenagers trip to adulthood. I thought this would be better then Dark Shadows. Then I see the 30% it got on Rotten Tomatoes. Ouch. Why did it get this? Well Girl In Progress is boring,has unfunny jokes,has a bad script, and is just plain stupid. Overall seems like Girl In Progress is a work in progress. Don't see this one. Just read the book instead.

The industry of MMO's aren't very big for that they either make big bucks or fail completely. Most companies don't want to take that risk. Well then this thing titled Tera walked by our eyes. If you are bored with your WOW or SWTOR account. If you are really (I mean really because this MMO costs money) desperate with your MMO experience DC Universe Online for example, you will love this. Tera is addicting,fun,has a great combat system,and has different modes. Overall you should probably keep your MMO account. If you haven't played your MMO in the last month, this one's a no-brainer.

Johnny Depp has starred in many of Tim Burtons movies. Edward ScissorHands, Sleepy Hollow, Alice In Wonderland, and now Johnny Depp is wanting to turn back to creepy old Burton for the movie adaptation of Dark Shadows a 1970 TV soap. Well first of all thank god Johnny Depp was in this movie. The movie has gotten a 5.0 average from critics similar to Alice In Wonderland. Johnny Depp practically saves this movie. Why you ask? The movie is a drag. The movie is uninspired,long,and the plot is a mess. Though if you are a fan of Tim Burton you aren't gonna give a crap. Overall see Dark Shadows if you may but you will probably be waiting for this movie to end half way through.

There aren't that many third person shooters coming out this year. Mostly because if you say third person everybody freaks out and jumps on the Call Of Duty bandwagon. Well this new Playstation 3 exclusive Starhawk is opting to change that. Call Of Duty: Black Ops II comes out in November 2012 not today. So what to do? Well there is Starhawk. The high points of Starhawk are some of the best multiplayer in a game, provides cool tools to a old formula, and it's addictive. The game is very straightforward though so be warned. Overall you should get this. If you aren't willing to shell out 60 in moola for a third person shooter your gonna regret it. Starhawk is rated T.

This is the movie for the SAW fan who is now wanting more. When SAW 3D came out in 2010 that was permitted to be the last movie in the series. Do some of your research and you found this movie from some of the same people that made some of the SAW movies. SAW 3D sucked. (Metacritic:24 Rotten Tomatoes:10%) This is meh. The movie itself is well acted but the script is crappy,a disastrous plot, and repetitive violence. Overall please don't see this movie. If you are a SAW fan take my word with a grain of salt and have eyeballs and other body parts fly at you in bloodshed on the screen for an enjoyable amount of time.

Minecraft was first for the PC. After such big popularity it has been ported to the Xbox 360. But is it better then the PC version or is it just Minecrap? Well Minecraft is still the same. This version sticks to it's roots even though there isn't things like the infamous hunger bar. I don't know about know about you but that bums me out. Oh and if you haven't played Minecraft buy this anyway. Both versions are very similar so there is nothing to lose. Overall Minecraft is the next great XBLA title but if you want to stick with the PC version, there is nothing wrong about that.

One of the only movies that came out this week because The Avengers would kick all of their asses, was The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel. If you were going to see a movie this week that came out this week you would either see this or The Avengers. The Avengers is way better then this but if you didn't want to see that and you wanted to see this well the movie isn't that bad. A few of the reasons this is not a waste of time and you should see it is that it is written good,the acting is good and it's funny. The downside is it's more of a movie for the elderly. Overall if you want to see this go but if you aren't 50+ you should see The Avengers again.

Sniper Elite V2 is a new first person shooter that has a Mortal Kombat like twist. Gruesome deaths. If that is what makes the game stand out though, is it still good? Sniper Elite V2 has a basic plot but it probably is the best sniper game on the market. Sniper Elite's big soft spot is that it does not have that much content and not really worth the $60. It also features crappy AI. Overall the game is fun though but think about all these negative spots.

The Avengers is here so we are going to have everything for it here we go!
Plot:
You basically know the plot Black Widow, Hawkeye, Iron Man, Hulk and Captain America save New York. Though does the plot have holes or is it just good written?
The answer: The second one. The Avengers is surprising and good written. It has everything a superhero movie needs. None the less do the actors make the movie look bad?
Acting:
The actors in this are Chris Hemsworth,Scarlett Johansson, and Robert Downey Jr. among others. The acting in this movie is well played, and feels like the perfect role for these characters. IGN said that the acting was good too, but they didn't show enough Hawkeye.
Special Effects: The special effects in the movie like the enemies and stuff are all CGI and the good thing is it actually looks good. Better yet, The Avengers special effects is not dated and is all shotty. Overall:
Overall turns out this is actually an excellent movie for all ages. Whatever it takes you need to see this movie. You will not regret it.

Fighting games have been really popular in this year of 2012. We have had Street Fighter X Tekken, Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3,Mortal Kombat,Skullgirls,and now we have Awesomenauts. So this new fighting game has been getting great reviews from critics. The lowest score was a 7.0! Awesomenauts is fun,fast-paced,cheap,and has hours on content. So the only problem is that you need to chip a few hours into it. If you have patience that's okay. Overall if you own an Xbox 360 or Playstation 3 and Mortal Kombat was to gory for your tastes, you should definitely get this. Awesomenauts is rated T.

video games and movies! Today it is Bernie a movie about a funeral director starring Jack Black.
I do not know about you but I think of Jack Black as the Eddie Murphy of the industry. He had good recognition but then his career was basically over because now if he stars in a movie it usually sucks. Well good news Jack Black fans, Bernie breaks the curse. Why you ask? Bernie has a good plot, it is funny, and Jack Black portrays the character he is playing well. So even though Bernie has a weird and awkward plot it's one of Jack Black's best.
Overall if it is playing in a theater near you go see this movie.

video games and movies! Today it is the port of 2011's Mortal Kombat.
In 2011 NetherRealm innovated the fighting drama with Mortal Kombat. Almost a year later it is on the Playstation Vita. So is it good? An 88 on Metacritic explains otherwise. The new Mortal Kombat is cheap, has new characters, does not have a lot of glitches, and has many hours of content. It does not have any negative things about it. All the critics have given it a positive score. That's right all the critics have given it a positive score.
Overall if you are a fighting fan and you finished Skullgirls and own a PSVita, you should definitely check this out.
