Critics Consensus:Ultra Street Fighter IV

Hi! We are Critics Consensus.  We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is the all new Street Fighter update! (Don't we get one of these like every 6 months?)
Capcom's reupdated Street Fighter for the last time now as next gen consoles are pretty much taking over. So let's see if the new last-gen Street Fighter is something to stick with until we get Street Fighter 5 or a up-rezed version of Street Fighter 4. Yay repetition.
Fortunately critics (10 to be exact) say that this is the best Street Fighter yet. IGN praised it for it's attention to fan's requests and how nearly the game is close to perfection compared the Street Fighter 4 we got years ago. The new characters like Decapre and Poison are pretty cool too as Meristation said it made the roster even better. They got Street Fighter down ladies and gentlemen. Now it's the long road to Street Fighter 5.
Overall get this game.
Ultra Street Fighter IV is rated T.

Critics Consensus:Dead Rising 3:Chaos Rising

Hi! We are Critics Consensus.  We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is the third piece of Dead Rising 3 DLC Chaos Rising!
It's easy to say that if you have bought a Season Pass for Dead Rising 3 it wasn't really worth it. The last two DLC's have had stupid plots, somewhat bad AI,and the feeling like they were slapped together at the last minute. This isn't what we hoped for as the AMAZING Dead Rising 2 also had AMAZING DLC called Case Zero but this is pretty formulaic. However there is a glimmer of hope. The new one isn't that bad.
It seems like the DLC's are getting better each episode but it's definitely not worth the money for all of them. This one unfortunately has a weak main character and uninteresting side quests but it does have some great actually fun to kill bosses and new unique weapons as stated by Meristation. Sadly that couldn't keep the average score from being a 6 out of 10.
Overall only get this if you want to.
Dead Rising 3:Chaos Rising is rated M.

Critics Consensus:Strider

Hi! We are Critics Consensus.  We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is the all new Strider reboot!
Well here's a story of Capcom not pissing off fans for a change. Strider has now finally been rebooted but it's been a long treacherous adventure. The game was originally supposed to be a gritty reboot made by the guys who made that awful Bionic Commando reboot. After poor sales of that game Strider was cancelled. But fan forums, petitions, and requests have finally made this game a reality.  Thanks is also in part to Double Helix the short lived kings of reboots ever since their acquisition from Amazon stopped them from making multi-platform games (guys behind the Killer Instinct reboot) So let's see how it is shall we?
Damn. Strider is a reboot everyone asked for and delivered pretty much what everyone asked for despite the occasional flaw. Strider brings the classic platforming and insane bosses to a new audience but keeping the pizazz that the older games had. This is a keeper ladies and gentlemen and with an average score of 8 out of 10 and praise from GameInformer, Polygon, and Destructoid for having great mechanics it looks like this is the reboot we always dreamed of.
Overall get this game.
Strider is rated E10+.

Critics Consensus:Dead Rising 3:Fallen Angel

Hi! We are Critics Consensus.  We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is the second piece of Dead Rising 3 DLC!
Last time I covered the Dead Rising 3 DLC the DLC was more of the same and it wasn't looking good for the next DLC however Capcom Vancouver can back it up with an actually new character in the DLC. Critics complained about the character in the first one so can Fallen Angel bring the hype back to the Dead Rising DLC?
Nope. Sadly Fallen Angel isn't anything special. Just like the last DLC the new vehicles and weapons are nice but just like the last DLC there's cliches, a boring story, and an expensive price tag. This is what's probably going to be a good DLC series as this hasn't received a single positive review the highest being a low 6 from Destructoid.
Overall do not get this DLC.

Critics Consensus:Dead Rising 3:Operation Broken Eagle

Hi! We are Critics Consensus.  We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is the all new Dead Rising 3 DLC in which you have to save the president!!
Dead Rising 3 was a flagship title on the Xbox One. It was a game that showed off the Xbox One's hardware in many ways such as the amount of zombies on the screen, and no load times. It also ended up selling up a million copies which is a pretty impressive number considering the way Capcom has been going lately. So what better way that to round that good up with a nice batch of DLC? Turns out that sours the deal rather than sweetening it.
Broken Eagle is an unneeded experience to the Dead Rising franchise. Unlike Case Zero this game while not necessarily buggy or bad looking is very bland and overly expensive. The campaign only lasts a few hours as VideoGamer.com put it and while the new vehicles and weapons are nice, the price point isn't enough to justify it.
Overall do not get this game.

Critics Consensus:Lost Planet 3

Hi! We are Critics Consensus. We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is the new Lost Planet!
Since Capcom's big 2012 press conference where they showcased such titles as Lost Planet 3, DMC Devil May Cry and Remember Me nothing has really been a hit except for DMC. Capcom is bringing Lost Planet back but will that bode well with critics?
Well there's good news but a lot of bad news as well. Lost Planet 3 is certainly the best in the franchise but with a new developer that also created the atrocity that is Legendary, things did not really come together at the end. The best thing about Lost Planet 3 is the multiplayer as VideoGamerTV said but overall the game's presentation is lacking with slow pace and unwanted realism to an otherwise balls to the walls series. Lost Planet has always been mediocre and the latest one shows with a 57 on Metacritic.
Overall only get this if you want to.
Lost Planet 3 is rated T.

Critics Consensus:Ducktales Remastered

Hi! We are Critics Consensus. We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is the new Ducktales HD remake!
When you think of nostalgia you usually think as a gamer Ducktales. Ducktales is one of the most recognized platformers in gaming history and Capcom surprised us all at this years PAX that Ducktales would be available for your Xbox 360,Playstation 3, and WiiU in less than a year. But does the port bode well or should it not be put on your bill.
Interestingly enough Ducktales is getting very mixed reviews. And that's simply because Ducktales has not aged well as PCGamer said. The difficulty can be through the roof and the repitition can be simply obnoxious. However the remastered graphics and new additions save the game from epitome. Machinima even gave this a 90!
Overall only get this game if you want to.
Ducktales Remastered is rated E10+.

Critics Consensus:Remember Me

Hi! We are Critics Consensus. We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is Remember Me Capcom's new IP.
Remember Me is insanely promising. It's a new IP from a struggling developer and it's got an amazing and original plot. However there is always the however's. And Remember Me has a lot of those.
Remember Me tries too hard as IGN said. It constantly guides you during the climbing sections and the fighting is repetitive and tedious as VideoGamerTV said. The characters are also kind of absurd as Metro GameCentral said. The game is beautiful and would be immersive if they actually paid attention to their design.
Overall only get this if you want to.
Remember Me is rated M.

Critics Consensus: Darkstalkers Ressurrection

Hi! We are Critics Consensus. We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is a game based off the Darkstalkers anime!

Despite the interesting boxart for this game, (I expect that if a box art for a game is all the characters getting shoved into what looks like the antagonists breast, It's probably gonna be a bad game.) But who knows the game is getting good reviews and I don't even what Darkstalkers is and maybe that's what the series is about. Pretty f*cked up series if you ask me.
Anyway the game has been getting good reviews as Skullgirls so that's a good sign. If it's just as good as Skullgirls as Metro Game Central said. That means it would be original, fun and innovative. However it's also the same as Skullgirls with that boxart.
Overall get this game if your'e a fan I guess? I need to cover something over than God Of War so...

Critics Consensus: Devil May Cry

Hi! We are Critics Consensus. We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is Devil May Cry the new reboot of the old Devil May Cry series.
Well it's here. The last Devil May Cry game was 2008's Devil May Cry 4. That was four years ago. Capcom decided to reboot the series. With the help of Ninja Theory the masterminds of Heavenly Sword. Well is it good? Cause Dante's new transformation was getting a lot of flack.
Telegraph called it a blistering start to 2013 (that means it's good if you don't get the simile.) GamesTM praised the razor sharp content, ZTGameDomain called it an early contender for one of their. That seems a little ambitious because the year just started but whatever.
Overall you should probably get this game.
Devil May Cry is rated M.

Critics Consensus: Resident Evil 6

NOTE: Since this is a giant release for the video game industry we will have a giant post.
Hi! We are Critics Consensus. We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is a new Resident Evil game Resident Evil 6.
Graphics:

Cheat Code Central called Resident Evil 6 gorgeous to look at, and Planet Xbox 360 said that "visually it was the best Resident Evil to date." Mostly negative reviews came in for RE6 (Resident Evil 6) but if a critic praised anything it was the graphics.
Gameplay:

Quarter To Three complained about how that the new Resident Evil was trying to rip off of the Call Of Duty aspect and called it tedious, ReviewsOnTheRun complained about how most characters had the same abilities,JuexActu complained about the cover system and the list goes on and on and on. The worst thing about this game is the horrid gameplay.
Other (Plot,Audio):

Clueless Gamer complained about the sophisticated plot,Worth Playing said that it did have good writing but not good enough and lastly Gamespot with a 4.5 complained about the barrage of cutscenes.
Overall:

Overall please do not get this game. Please,Please,Please.
Trailer:

Critics Consensus: Steel Battalion:Heavy Armor

Hi! We are Critics Consensus. We post the regular daily critics opinion for the newest video games and movies! Today it is Steel Battalion:Heavy Armor the remake of the Steel Battalion series for the Kinect.
Sometimes we get a game that is like vomiting in a shower. It's sad when that happens. Anyway you probably know where i'm going with this post. When a game gets a 3.0 from IGN, Game Informer, and Destructoid and only one positive review this is what we get. The equivalent of vomiting in a shower. Well why? Giant Bomb,Polygon and Electronic Gaming Monthly complained about controls while IGN called the game "hell".
Overall don't trust this game. I don't care if the ad says 10\10:IGN it is still crap.

Steel Battalion:Heavy Armor is rated M.

Critics Consensus:Dragon's Dogma

Hi! We are Critics Consensus. We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is Dragon's Dogma a new role-playing game made by a surprising developer, Capcom.
Capcom is mostly known for making fighting games and a lot's of them. Then a new IP rolls in that shows that Capcom is making a RPG. People are suprised. Well they should be even more because Dragon's Dogma turned out OK. Gamer.no gave it a surprising 9\10 praising it for it's gripping gameplay and that it's really fun. Though one of the few negative reviews was Joystiq with a 4\10 they said the game had oppressive flaws. The regular critics consensus is that Dragon's Dogma has a few flaws here and there and there is little online functionality but overall it is mostly fun for what it is.
Overall if you want to get this game of course by all means. Though if you aren't sure that you need 60$ burned out of your wallet just pass.

Dragon's Dogma is rated M.
