Critics Consensus: Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier

Hi! We are Critics Consensus. We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon the newest installation in the Tom Clancy series.

Though Call Of Duty is the juggernaut of the gaming industry,third person shooters have started to receive some more sunlight. Starhawk was good, Max Payne 3 was great, and now Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Future Soldier is here. Though does it kill it's competition or is it a mediocre game that is parachuted into a crowded genre? Well critics say that Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Future Soldier is probably the best game of the week, (the other games will be covered on Thursday and Friday) it does not have a few problems. It has a 79 on  Metacritic and hasn't gotten a 10 from a critic so it could be way better well why? Gamereactor Denmark stated "It's not a perfect game, as parts of the story, some cutscenes and a few graphical missteps in some of the indoor environments disrupt the picture".  Though Joystiq and Machinima did love the game because of it's fun gameplay. 

Overall if you want to get this get it but do not forget that Max Payne 3 came out and that is a bit better then this.

Critics Consensus: Virginia

Hi! We are Critics Consensus. We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is Virginia a new drama that looks at the American Dream.

Not that movies get 0% on Rotten Tomatoes. Usually if they do they are either any movie directed by Uwe Boll,a parody,a stupid unfunny comedy,or an outrageous sequel. Rarely drama's get a 0%. Well one just did. Before I say the obvious which is not to see this movie, let's find out why this movie sucks. Well Virginia has a confusing plot that goes all over the place,has predictable twists,boring scenes, and it is a comedy and a drama at the same time which is a bad mix. 
Overall please don't even think about seeing this movie. A 0% does not lie.

Critics Consensus: Sonic The Hedgehog 4: Episode II

Hi! We are Critics Consensus. We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is Sonic The Hedgehog 4: Episode II the sequel to 2010's Sonic The Hedgehog 4: Episode 1.

 Sega's mascot is Sonic. Sonic has been everywhere even partnered with Mario sometimes. The question is  the new Sonic good or does it tarnish the mascot? Sonic has had a rough couple of years. Sonic The Black Knight was not good and Sonic Generations didn't sell well. The new Sonic is downloadable so it's less expensive. We can already find a plus there. The game has OK gameplay and good physics but the music is annoying and unbearable. So for 15$ there isn't that much content. If you are a Sonic fan this might hit the spot.
Overall if you are a Sonic fan it is a bit of a cash grab but it isn't a total waste of time. If you do not play Sonic there is no need to get this.

 Ugh another week another dramadey movie. This one's based off an 80's self help book. What To Expect When You're Expecting has been panned by critics. Well let's see why. What To Expect When You're Expecting is not really that funny,the whole movie is fictional even for a comedy,and a boring crappy story. The best thing about What To Expect When You're Expecting is that the jokes that are funny are really funny.
Overall stay away from this one. You might see it on cable TV when they are playing a movie and you will think ,this is why I didn't see this movie.

Critics Consensus: Game of Thrones

Hi! We are Critics Consensus. We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is Game Of Thrones the game based on the critically acclaimed TV show.

Game Of Thrones is a TV show on HBO. Critically acclaimed they decided to make a game out of it. Looks like this one needed way more time in the oven. Game Of Thrones takes everything good that the TV show had cuts 93% of the good and replaces it with things gamers despise like poor graphics and voice acting with no effort put into it. There is also some more crap too. Game Of Thrones also suffers from a depressing story (I mean really depressing.), repetitive combat, and 20 hours or so before the game becomes mediocre. That's right mediocre.
Overall stay away from this one. If you are a strict Game Of Thrones fan rent this to see if you like it.
