Critics Consensus: ZombiU

Hi! We are Critics Consensus. We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is ZombiU the new survival horror game for the Wii U.

Most launch titles coming out for the Wii U are purely unoriginal. Most are ports or sequels or ripoffs. ZombiU is something different. In ZombiU you make a character. Let's say I make a character named Quincy Higgins. Once he dies he will be in the universe of a different player trying to kill them. In fact ReviewsOnTheRun's Scott C Jones praised that of the game and said that it was addictive. However The Toronto Globe And Mail complanied that when you start your first few characters there really is not that many weapons to choose from and EGM said that it had too much unclear instructions.

Overall only get this game if you want to.

My Personal Opinion: LEGO Lord Of The Rings

Hi! We are Critics Consensus. We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is LEGO Lord of The Rings and I will review it.
NOTE: Game of the Year will be covered in December.

I love the LEGO games. Well most of the time. Luckily this is not the case. LEGO Lord Of The Rings spans all three LOTR movies in Lego form. I wish they added the upcoming The Hobbit but I guess that would take more time. The gameplay is pretty fun and surprisingly they made it like a third person Skyrim for kids. Kinda. When you're done with levels you can continue or do fetch quests and other stuff. The worst thing about this game is that you have to look for all the characters before you buy them. They added that in Lego Batman 2 but now it is even more difficult. Seriously I finished the story and the only character I found was Bilbo Baggins.

My Personal Opinion: The Life Of Pi

I have read the Life Of Pi. I love the book. The movie is OK. The movie is beautiful and candy for your eyes and the person sitting next to my actually asked if the tiger is real. It is not by the way. The scipt is good but the main part is that the film has no attention to detail. For example an orangutan throws up and when you look where he threw up there is no vomit. They also change the film's ratio to widescreen to flatscreen to many times to count. God that is annoying.

Critics Consensus:Rise Of The Guardians

Hi! We are Critics Consensus. We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is Rise of The Guardians a new animated movie about the Easter Bunny, Jack Frost and Santa Claus going against the Nightmare King or something like that

.Well there's good news and bad news if you are going to see Rise Of The Guardians this weekend. The good news is that it is not horrid. Though it's not up to par with Pixar movies either. Rotten Tomatoes praised that it was a elementary school version of The Avengers, Laramie Movie Scope loved the moral of the story but the main problem about this movie is that if you are an adult half way through you will get a little bit bored and it might mimic you a bit as TIME magazine expelled.
Overall see this movie if you have kids. If you are a kid how the heck did you get here?

Critics Consensus: Playstation All Stars Battle Royale

Hi! We are Critics Consensus. We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is Sony's take on Super Smash Bros.

When Playstation All Stars Battle Royale was announced everybody was bitching about how it was a rip-off of Smash Bros. Well it is not because it is not as fun as Smash Bros as SmoshGames suggested as well as MetroGameCentral and EuroGamer. Some critics also complained about how you could only buy characters free for a limited amount of time and Gamereactor Denmark said the game was only fun with friends and the single player was monotone.
Overall do not buy this game. I do not care if Nathan Drake is in it. Do not buy it.
