Critics Consensus:Transistor

Hi! We are Critics Consensus.  We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is the all new game from the creators of Bastion, Transistor!!!
Back in 2011, a little fantasy role playing game called Bastion released into the XBLA wild. It ended up being a huge hit winning many accolades. But what have the developers of that game been doing for three years?
They've been working on Transistor and now it's finally out. Apparently all that time and craft was worth it as the game has a 82 on Metacritic with a landslide of positive reviews from such publications as IGN,GameTrailers,GameInformer, and Eurogamer. Some critics such as Polygon and 3DJuegos went as far as calling it a A+ RPG and hours and hours of enjoyable content. Supergiant does it again ladies and gentlemen.
Overall get this game.
Transistor is rated T.

Critics Consensus:Wolfenstein:The New Order

Hi! We are Critics Consensus.  We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is the new game in the Wolfenstein franchise!!
Wolfenstein created the first person shooter. Ya some simple retro game about shooting Nazi's in the face paved the way for Call Of Duty,Battlefield,Medal Of Honor and more. So now it's back after it's 2010 reboot. Let's see how it is shall we?
Wolfenstein:The New Order has a 79 on Metacritic and for being a game that's just simply about shooting Nazi's in the face, it's gotten some mixed reviews. VideoGamer.com said that the tone was all over the place while Polygon,Gaming Trend, and IGN praised the varied gunplay and gun custimazation. However The Escapist commented on the boring plain maps but Game Revolution went on about the voice acting. Ya it's pretty varied. Our advice
Only get this game if you want to.
Wolfenstein The New Order is rated M.

Critics Consensus:Titanfall Expedition

Hi! We are Critics Consensus.  We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is the all new Titanfall DLC!!
We're still relaxing from the hype and shock factor of Titanfall. Being one of the best mech games of all time and the best first person shooter in who knows how long it would be good to have some well deserving DLC. Right?
Sadly Titanfall Expedition is a mixed bag. It's got a high asking price for only three maps, and one of them isnt even that great. Even Official Xbox Magazine,MetroGameCentral, and Eurogamer said that it was only for people who still want that Titanfall temptation. Titanfalls back ladies and gentlemen but sadly you might want to wait till this one goes on sale.
Overall only get this game if you want to.
Titanfall:Exepdition is rated M.

Critics Consensus:Godzilla

Hi! We are Critics Consensus.  We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is the all new Godzilla reboot!
Considering how big of a pop culture phenomenon Godzilla is it's surprising there hasn't been a wide release American movie for him for about 15 years. Why? That's because director of Independence Day and 2012 Roland Emmerich, decided to make his own Godzilla movie even though he hated Japanese culture. So it was obvious that the movie made the Godzilla franchise stay dormant for a long time. But now the king has awaken...
Godzilla has gotten some pretty good reviews and while it's not the amazing masterpiece fans wanted it to be it really can't. Because it's Godzilla. You can't make a Godfather quality movie with friggin Godzilla in it. Anyway off to the reviews. Besides for the couple of naysayers (Christian Science Monitor,New Yorker,TIME) most critics alike have praised Godzilla for it's intense action sequences, strong acting, and has been called as the best American Godzilla of all time. Which isn't really saying a lot but still
you should probably see this movie
Godzilla is rated PG-13.

Critics Consensus:Borderlands 2 (PSVita)

Hi! We are Critics Consensus.  We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is the all new Vita port of Borderlands 2!!
Borderlands 2 is back in black. Ok maybe that wasn't the best intro but you get the jist. Borderlands 2 is coming to Vita. That's kind of weird considering the Vita is considered a dead console by many gamers and 2K will support the Vita but not the WiiU must mean something. Let's see what.
According to critics the Vita port of Borderlands 2 isn't all we claimed for. Maybe its because its made by a different company or the choppy frame rate but even critics such as GamesRadar,IGN,and The Escapist gave this one the thumbs down. Sometimes a game just doesn't fit a certain platform and sadly it appears this is the case with Borderlands 2.
Overall do not get this game.
Borderlands 2 is rated M.
