Hi! We are Critics Consensus. We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is the new movie adaptation of The Great Gatsby!
One of the most anticipated movies of 2013 was The Great Gatsby an adaptation of the classic book by F. Scott Fitzgerald. There have been many many adaptations of this book. However none of them are very good. Can Baz Lurhman change that? Well not so much. The Great Gatsby has been a 55 average and a 47% on RottenTomatoes. ReviewsOnTheRun's Scott C Jones said that it was spectacular and written well but the last twenty minutes are weak. Most critics complained that the movie was too beautiful to focus on everything else. Source:The Atlantic,Miami Herald Overall only see this movie if you want too. The Great Gatsby is rated PG-13.
