Critics Consensus: TERA

Hi! We are Critics Consensus. We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is TERA a new MMO by an Korean company.

The industry of MMO's aren't very big for that they either make big bucks or fail completely. Most companies don't want to take that risk.  Well then this thing titled Tera walked by our eyes. If you are bored with your WOW or SWTOR account. If you are really (I mean really because this MMO costs money) desperate with your MMO experience DC Universe Online for example, you will love this. Tera is addicting,fun,has a great combat system,and has different modes.
Overall you should probably keep your MMO account. If you haven't played your MMO in the last month, this one's a no-brainer.

Critics Consensus:Dark Shadows

Hi! We are Critics Consensus. We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is Dark Shadows, Tim Burton and Johnny Depps remake of the 1970 TV soap.

Johnny Depp has starred in many of Tim Burtons movies. Edward ScissorHands, Sleepy Hollow, Alice In Wonderland, and now Johnny Depp is wanting to turn back to creepy old Burton for the movie adaptation of Dark Shadows a 1970 TV soap. Well first of all thank god Johnny Depp was in this movie. The movie has gotten a 5.0 average from critics similar to Alice In Wonderland. Johnny Depp practically saves this movie. Why you ask? The movie is a drag. The movie is uninspired,long,and the plot is a mess. Though if you are a fan of Tim Burton you aren't gonna give a crap.
Overall see Dark Shadows if you may but you will probably be waiting for this movie to end half way through.


Dark Shadows is rated PG-13.

Critics Consensus: Starhawk

Hi! We are Critics Consensus. We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is Starhawk the sequel to 2007's Warhawk.

 There aren't that many third person shooters coming out this year. Mostly because if you say third person everybody freaks out and jumps on the Call Of Duty bandwagon. Well this new Playstation 3 exclusive Starhawk is opting to change that. Call Of Duty: Black Ops II comes out in November 2012 not today. So what to do? Well there is Starhawk. The high points of Starhawk are some of the best multiplayer in a game, provides cool tools to a old formula, and it's addictive. The game is very straightforward though so be warned. 
Overall you should get this. If you aren't willing to shell out 60 in moola for a third person shooter your gonna regret it.

Critics Consensus: Mother''s Day

Hi! We are Critics Consensus. We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is Mother's Day a new horror movie from the people that brought you SAW.

This is the movie for the SAW fan who is now wanting more. When SAW 3D came out in 2010 that was permitted to be the last movie in the series. Do some of your research and you found this movie from some of the same people that made some of the SAW movies. SAW 3D sucked. (Metacritic:24 Rotten Tomatoes:10%) This is meh.  The movie itself is well acted but the script is crappy,a disastrous plot, and repetitive violence. 
Overall please don't see this movie. If you are a SAW fan take my word with a grain of salt and have eyeballs and other body parts fly at you in bloodshed on the screen for an enjoyable amount of time.

Critics Consensus: Minecraft (Xbox 360\XBLA)

Hi! We are Critics Consensus. We post the regular critics opinion for video games and movies! Today it is 
the new promising port of Minecraft for the Xbox 360. 

Minecraft was first for the PC. After such big popularity it has been ported to the Xbox 360. But is it better then the PC version or is it just Minecrap? Well Minecraft is still the same. This version sticks to it's roots even though there isn't things like the infamous hunger bar. I don't know about know about you but that bums me out. Oh and if you haven't played Minecraft buy this anyway. Both versions are very similar so there is nothing to lose.
Overall Minecraft is the next great XBLA title but if you want to stick with the PC version, there is nothing wrong about that.
